I would have loved to give this place four or even five stars because I do like their food. But the service is terrible. I'm not sure who told the owners that it is appropriate to yell at paying customers, but obviously someone has. I have been to Pleasant Thyme many times. I like the food. It's great to have this in a small town with few choices. I promised I wouldn't go back after Suzie yelled at me because I wasn't fast enough getting my debit card out. But, I went again because the choices are slim in PV. Guess what, more yelling. Then I hear from others that not only does she yell, but that her husband has yelled at them also. Really, your food isn't good enough. I guess they are the think they are the sandwich nazis (Seinfeld reference). I won't go back, this time I mean it. And, Pleasant Thyme, if there was even one other place to give you even a little competition, you would have no business.
Review Source:Food is superb. I honestly believe the waitress had never waited tables before today but she tried..... sorta. The Chef always has a lunch special of the day that includes soup or side, sandwich or wrap and a drink for $6.5. There is not a large selection but something worth trying. The place is in an old small strip mall at the corner of Highway 49 and Old Clarksville Highway and the outside is a bit dingy, but go on in! inside is clean and comfortable. They have coffee and tea aslo.
Review Source:Great little soup and sandwich place, where you'd least expect to find it---in a tiny little strip mall kind of thing attached to a gas station. The food is "downtown Nashville" lunch fare. Try the tomato basil bisque (always on the menu) or one of the panini sandwiches. Top if all off with some of their homemade cheesecake (huge slices, made daily) and a fairly decent cup of coffee.
