Pooh's is a decent sized bar with ample dance floor space. It's size and ventilation keep it from being too smokey, which is a plus.
You have a pretty good chance of hearing live music when you go there and the cover charge is only $5 in most cases. That's cheap for live music these days!
Last but certainly not least, the beer is ice cold and reasonably priced. They also have a full bar if you are partial to mixers.
Overall my experience is good when I go there. But beware. This is not an upscale club. This is a bar. When a live band isn't playing, you will hear Country or Rock on the jukebox. You will also be sure to see people drinking, dancing, and having a blast. Afterall, isn't that what bars are for?
P.S. I don't know why someone spelled it PEAR-a-dice. It should be PAIR-a-dice. Hopefully this will be noticed and changed.
