3 stars for the jerky, and one extra star for the bbq tacos. I'm not quite sure if I'd stack the bbq up next to some of my all time faves, but the bbq tacos were actually pretty amazing.

What I love most about stopping here of course is the jerky. The best part about it is getting free samples. They'll literally let you sample every type of jerky if you want to hang out there long enough. Then I dare you not to buy some.

Great stuff, and worth a quick stop for sure. Or you can always pull in to Sonic...or Subway..or AAA Burger Joint #12,356...bor-ing.

The barbecue is just OK but I will not intentionally eat their food again.  Instead, you should travel up north to Odom's Barbecue in Waxahachie, TX and try one  of their smoked turkey legs that is amazing.  Unfortunately not always in stock but worth checking on   : )

Skip the BBQ.  But load up on the jerky.  The jalapeno and habanero jerky were great!
