Good place to go watch the game. Make a reservation if there are a ton of games on that night. Also, it helps if you tell them which game you are there for and they will position you in a place where there are tvs playing it. You end up sitting next to your rivals but that's what makes the night fun. Their food is pretty good. Nice selection. Fries are great! But here's why I gave this place three stars.... We got to the hostess table but had to wait in line because the hostess had left her position for a while to go into the back. When we finally got to our table, we waited for 15-20 minutes before we saw our server. But before that I had to ask three different other servers to find our server. They all went to "ask the manager." I never saw them again. Since we were there to watch a game, we wanted to order some appetizers and drinks and then food later. Our server didn't seem to understand that concept even after being explained to. So he kept coming back for our food orders and we kept telling him later later LATER! Finally we just gave up and ordered food. I would understand that he wanted to turn our table over quick if the place was crowded, but the place had quieted down while we were there. Before all of us finished food and drinks, he brought us our checks. No mention of desert or more drinks? Dude, I'm trying to let you redeem yourself and earn some money off of me. When he kept asking if our checks were ready to be processed I just ordered another drink and he looked at me like "really?"
Long story short, terrible service, slow service, good food, potential for fun atmosphere.

My bf and I went there on Sunday around 1:00 and left feeling kinda gross.
First, we waited by the door for a long time trying to figure out if someone was going to seat us or if we were supposed to seat ourselves. The bartenders standing right there pretended they never saw us - they put on a good show of being really busy serving the two people seated at the bar (there were also maybe only 3 tables full...not an unreasonable workload to expect someone to at least say hi; this is the South after all). The waitress came by promptly once we finally sat down, but never really came back to see if we wanted more drinks - by the time she came back, my bf just wanted to get out of there.
The alligator bites aren't all alligator - they're alligator sausage, which my bf said tasted like ham. And they were greasy, he said. He loves alligator (and sausage), but only ate 1/3 of them.
I had the turkey melt, and it was greasy and thrown together. The bread tasted microwaved, not toasted or grilled as I would expect a melt to be. The fries were fine - I didn't notice it, but my bf said they tasted like fish.
All in all, it was rather unpleasant - the food wasn't good enough to overcome the bad service. We won't be going back - maybe for a beer, but not for food.
After visiting the Bass Pro Shop, I had lunch at Poppy's. Â We were seated right away and had our drink orders taken. Â This is the first place where I check in on Yelp and I got a free Yeugling pint for free. Â Everyone ordered a burger and it was good. Â The waitress was prompt and checked on our table often.
Review Source:Waited forever for our food, meanwhile, two parties who came in after us were served first. The food was ok. Service was ok. An item that was on the menu to be served with my meal didn't appear, so I asked the server; she said it comes with your meal only if you ask for it - the menu is wrong. Geesh! I would not return to this place.
Review Source:Worst restaurant I've been to in years!! Our lunch took a total of two hours. The waitress stopped by every 20-30 minutes if we were lucky, with a perky attitude and apologizing about being gone... every time. The food was cold and soggy, our sides were mixed up. My buffalo chicken wrap was awful but my husband's cheeseburger was mediocre. They didn't bring my salad dressing for my wilted salad that had overripe, mealy tomatoes and browned green peppers. I had to ask three different people for dressing before a different waitress went and got me some 30 minutes after our meal arrived. And to top it all off we were 1 of maybe 4 tables in the entire restaurant, and complaints to staff went in one ear and out the other. Obviously just a bunch of 20 somethings that don't give a crap. My lunch gave me a horrible stomachache to polish it all off. Stay away!!!!!!!!
Review Source:We went here to watch a UFC fight - and we'll never make that mistake again. They charged us $5 per person to watch the fight, (which isn't standard for the area - Hooters doesn't charge anything) and then they didn't have the fight on any TVs near us! We pulled the manager aside more than once, and he kept assuring us that they would change the TVs "soon." On top of our frustration with the TVs, the service was mediocre, and the food wasn't good. Â The best part of the night was the unintentional entertainment the drunks at the bar provided when they got into imaginary boxing matches.
Review Source:The food fell short. Â Got gator wings and a chicken Cesar salad. Â Took about 45 minutes to get our good. Â Sub par, falling short of flavor. Â I don't even think the gator wings were fully cooked. Â Also, I ordered a water, and a bottle of water was brought out with a cup of ice. Â I don't get it... Â you can give me the free frozen water which you obviously paid for electricity to freeze, but you can't give me free unfrozen water?? Â This place is dumb. Â If it wasn't full of TVs, I'd only given it one star.
Review Source:We had lunch here and watched the UF/UGA game. Â It was a lot less crowded than the first visit. Â The food was much better as well. Â I think there may be a correlation of busy and good food. Â I had the caesar salad with chicken and Jesse had the wings. Â Both items were decent. Â Our waitress, Jill, was great.
Review Source:Visited this sports bar lastnight with my fiance to watch the Razorback game. Â We are both really undecided about this place. Â It is very clean inside and the staff was wonderful. Â They have enough TV's to please everyone. Â On the other hand, the food was sub par. Â We had fried pickles for an appetizer and split the slider burger trio / baked potato for dinner. Â The taste was ok, but all three dishes were brought out cold. Â
We will give it another try in hopes that it was an isolated incident. Â The loacation and atmosphere are worth another shot.
I noticed the old restaurant that was at this location has been replaced by a new one and went to eat here with some friends. The place is littered with televisions and plenty of seating. It seems that there are really two sections within the restaurant. One side is the large bar with several different beers on tap and the other side is the seating area for ordering food.
They have a good menu with lots of good food, I mean lots of VERY good food. The Cubano sandwich is what I recommend, but I could have ordered numerous other items on their menu and feel the same about them as well. I will surely eat here again!!
