It's safe to say this bar is pretty popular but it doesn't really get kicking until the very late night/ early morning hours. Â It has a reputation as a biker bar, but I've seen very few bikes parked here. Â Truth be told, it's a magnet for service industry folks, which explains the late, late night patriotism. Â Most people sit outside around the huge open-air bar. Â Even in winter, with the eaters burning high, of course. The bartenders here know what they are doing, and they have a nice collection of spirits in stock to craft a great cocktail. Â If beer is more your thing, you will not be disappointed with the variety to choose from.
Review Source:The City of Destin doesn't want me telling you anything positive exists in this town with the word "dive" in its description that doesn't include doing something with a body of water. Â It can't be helped.
The Red Door is one of the better bars in Destin. Â In the off season it gets pretty divey, which is awesome. Â But otherwise this place is a great place to be. Â It has a huge floor space, is both an indoor and outdoor bar, is very reasonably priced and they have a solid staff. Â They have lots of TVs and is a great place to go during football season. Â One of my favorite things about the Red Door is NO LIVE MUSIC. Â I mean, admit it: Â Most of the time, the bands are too loud and they kinda suck, right?
I've seen the Red Door pretty packed, but never so crowded that you couldn't move around. Â And it's strategically placed for the beginning or end of a Pub Crawl. Â Oh yeah, and they have...food.
