Fabulous date night with my husband! From the moment we walked into Pour d' Vino, we felt like we weren't even in Lancaster anymore. The decor is really nice and the wine selection is pretty extensive. We both had the filet mignon, and we were so delighted with our choice... it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! The service was excellent and we were lucky enough to have the owner visit our table and chat with us for a bit. Like I mentioned before, the atmosphere makes you feel like you are at a wine bar in Santa Barbara, not Lancaster. After dinner we tried the creme brulee-delicious once again! I can't wait to back! Definitely recommend!!!
Review Source:Great addition to Lancaster's downtown! Â We visit a few times a year and we enjoyed having somewhere new to try.
Our overall sense was that the place isn't really sure what it is yet. Â It has the look and feel of a wine bar, but then tries to have a whole bistro menu...which doesn't really work. Â We tried a couple apps and were disappointed.
My suggestion would be to focus on being great with wine (have good glasses available for those that know the difference and hire servers that know wine) and shrink the menu down to about 10 small dishes that really work with the wine you are serving.
