The food was tasteless except for the prime rib it was so over salted that was all you could taste.  the service was worse then the food. rude waiter and it took 20 minutes to get a glass of wine

Its in the Riverside, that should have been the first clue it would be horrible, but some friends from Prescott were in town and "heard" it was very good so what the hell. Walking thru that smoke filled dump has always been nauseating to begin with.

Prime rib was about on par with the $5.99 prime rib "specials" offered at the really small and and VERY low end casinos in Vegas, in other words, garbage. Ordered med-rare and it came out med-COLD. Salad bar was one of the least appetizing I have ever seen, PASS.

Ending up taking most of the meat home and fed it to the dog.

At least he seemed to enjoy it. That's why they get one star instead of none...

Gorgeous views, friendly service, and good food. Me and the lady loved eating at the Prime Rib Room. It also doesn't hurt that we got discounts because her aunt worked there. For once -- I had connections!

    Atmosphere: 4/5
-- The view is awesome. The view of the Colorado River is a great setting for a dinner, especially a date. The way the moon's reflection looks is very inviting.
-- The place itself, while a little bit outdated, is very clean and classy.

    Service: 4/5
-- Service for us has always been very good. I'm not quite sure if it was because her aunt knew a lot of the employees, but we always got good servers.
-- Sometimes the wait of actually entering the restaurant has a habit of being longer than it should be. But that's mostly prime dinner hours and can be avoided.
-- I like how they wheel their cart to your table and cut the prime rib in front of you. Nice little touch.
-- They like giving hugs, which completes the whole "simpleton tri-state charm" they've got going on. Also celebrated my aunt's birthday here and they provided a cupcake with a candle. It was Costco brand however.. But it's the thought that counts, right?

    Food: 4/5
-- The prime ribs have always been very good. It's never tasted rubbery or bland like any other past reviews had said. We always either got medium or medium-rare, and it's always been a good portion of juicy meat.
-- Their mushrooms aren't exactly the best quality, but their horseradish was always good.
-- They also have chicken and fish, but it's not called the Chicken and Fish Room. God, what an awkward name. Just get the prime rib. You can get either of those for a lot cheaper (and better) somewhere else.
-- The salad bar area is a mixed bag (get it?). They have salad, baked potato, veggies, fries, mashed potatoes and gravy, etc. Salad variety is lacking, and the veggies are a little bland. But that's what salt is for!
-- The desserts can be good, just depends on what they make that day. But usually by the time I get to dessert I have already unbuckled my belt, and don't want to struggle buckling it again to get it.

    Price: 4/5
-- For around $15 a person, it's a good deal. A prime rib that size would go for around that price anyway, and they add on the little bar for you.

    TIPS:
-- I would only get the prime rib.
-- Ask for a table near or facing the window. The best views are at dusk, in my opinion.
