The Pub is great! Amazing service every time. Their pot roast is the best anywhere!

One of the better restaurants in Pembroke Gardens. The food is consistently tasty and cooked to perfection. I really love the Fish & Chips! Its not too greasy, and the fish is a good size and beer battered. Yum! I just wish that they would give more fries though....ordered extra on the side. Fried pickles were pretty awesome, I would definitely order them again if I were in the mood for a tart app. Shared the bread pudding...it has a nice hint of rum that is not too overwhelming and is very traditional and tastes homemade.

Good beers, good bar food. Just too crowded and LOUD - which is what one would expect with good food and beer. Service is always good. Fun place.

Great place to go for after work drinks. It is packed! Service was slow. We had a long wait, just to get called and find out from the host the table was still not ready. The food was good, but not worth the 2.5 hour dining time.

We frequent The Pub in Naples and are pretty familiar with what they offer. I love their Fish and Chips and of course, the Pineapple upside down cake martini. This location did not disappoint there. We did start with the Spinach dip which was just okay.

My husband likes the pot roast at the Naples location. Here, not so much.  The portion size, for one, was smaller. It was also really soupy, with very little actual meat. It tasted good but not much substance.  When we mentioned this to our server, she said something about them being a test location and that they are the first to put out the menu items. So it was still in the test stage. Huh? This is a standard on their menu and we had told her that we've had it several times at the Naples location. She then said that she was glad that he enjoyed it. Um, did she not hear what we had actually said?

Aside from that, service for the most part was fine. We did wait quite a bit for our water glasses to be refilled and our entrees arrived before our appetizer plates were cleared.

We were seated outside right next to the front door. If you sit here, be prepared for people to be standing right next to you...while smoking. This is another one of those reasons when there should be an ordinance about smoking within several yards from the entrance of an establishment. Especially since common courtesy is lacking in most of S.Fl. What really irked me though was that one of the smokers appeared to be a manager. I may be wrong. But he was out there with a cook, possibly on break. The side patio area would be a better option, plus it's not as loud as it is inside.

I  like that they call you on your cell when your table is ready. That way you are not limited in how far you can go. We will give this location another shot, especially since we like the mall.

Great place to just kick back and enjoy a cold beer with some friends.  On fridays, they have a DJ who plays some good music to dance to.  I really liked the fish and chips, as they were fried just right, and not overly battered and the fries were not greasy at all.  I thoroughly enjoy coming here and everytime just gets better.

Been looking for great British-style fish and chips? The Pub is the place to go!! I've been enjoying The Pub for many years now and still enjoy the occasional fish and chips treat. Other tasty dishes I've tried and highly recommend trying are the Fried Pickles, Cheese "bollocks", Flash Fried Calamari, Cranberry Pecan Salad, Young's BBQ Burger, Belhaven Burger (out of this world Belhaven Beer Cheese), Bangers and Mash, and of course the  Warm Cookie Sunday for dessert!! My husband always enjoys the beer as there are so many choices to choose from.

Overall, the service is always friendly and the food is always tasty! It is a must visit when near the Pembroke Pines area!!

Nice place to go for Happy Hour Friday after work.  $3.00 draughts until 7 PM and there is plenty of great choices like Guinness and New Castle.  It isn't overly crowded and the service is pretty good.

We've been here a few times and we just LOVE it!  Their food is all delicious, but especially  their fish and chips is one of the best you can find around and they have an amazing selection of beers.  They also have quite a few servers who are doing an amazing job, going far beyond expectation!

The Pub is just a truly great place to go out have a good meal, a cold beer or drink, and just enjoy yourself with some friends. Live band is always great and the prices for the food and drinks are good. Has a real pub feel to it. i love this place and I consider myself a regular here. The Pub is just great!

I came here for a birthday get together last night. We sat by the patio since the weather outside was chilly. We didn't eat but we drank. The waitress was attentive and got my drink order perfect considering she was taking care of so many of us. I've sat inside before and it was a bit crowded. Sitting on the patio is definitely your best bet.

Ambiance was chill and music was LOUD and ON POINT! We danced the night away. The DJ played everything from Top 40 to Freestyle to Salsa. Although I'm partially deaf today, it was all well worth it!

If you are looking for somewhere around home to hang out with your friends, than this is a good option to throw in there. I think this place is overrated, but I don't hate it. I think the food is okay, nothing I have had has blown my mind. I can tolerate this place because they have the ciders I like. My only major beef with the pub is the music they play. Excuse my political incorrectness, but when I go to a pub, I don't want to listen to Pitbull, or reggaeton. I want to listen to white people music.

I would not really label this place a sports bar. Reason why, you cannot sit at the bar and watch  TV, you have to swivel your chair to see the TV anywhere but in front of you. There are also no  large flat screen TV's that I could see anywhere, all of them were medium sized.

The central bar is stunning and beautiful, it has a " The Most interesting Man in the World " feel, but The Pub is more of  a smooching, date or hang out place if anything, than a traditional sports bar.

They have numerous international draft  and bottled beers at reasonable prices. I tried the Boddington draft from England, wow it was good, interesting refreshing taste, different from the norm. On the food end I tried The Cheese balls, some kind of beer battered fried cheese balls served with marinara sauce. I had never seen rounded cheese sticks before, but they were very tasty, the inside cheese was near perfect.

Service was great, I had a beautiful young long haired brunette with a sexy smile who was my bartender. I gave her a little extra on the tip for being beautiful.

This is one of my favorite hangouts in the 954.  The vibe is chill, and sitting out front is one of the best places to be.  The beer is cold and affordable, and the food is DELICIOUS.

They have a burger on a pretzel bun that is an absolute must.  They also have a goat cheese dip with marinara sauce and almonds that is no joke.

FYI, this is an "Irish" pub, no no American brews.  Don't worry, they have plenty of other delicious options for you to try.  They close different times every night, but the latest I've seen last call is 2am.  If it's late and you don't know where to go, head here.  You won't be disappointed.

I always come here for beer! I have tried many beers thanks to this place! Great atmosphere, great liquor and beers and I tried the pizza they had last time I went - wow was I impressed! It was really good!

Great times and good memories! Live bands play on the weekends sometimes. You can either sit inside or outside (I like them both). Pretty good service! Overall great experiences from here - I come here often - about 3 times a month.

flew to Miami to visit and was brought to this cool joint.

Not a big beer lover, but I did love their lamb sliders. So juicy and flavorful. Friendly service and nice booths for a small group.

I can totally imagine coming with a group of friends for munchies and hangouts.

Good drinks, about a million kind of beers. We really enjoyed it since we like tasting different beers. They surprised me with their selection.
We are newly vegan, so its kind of hard to eat, especially at a pub! The fries were good though lol.
This place was packed but I loved the interior. It was very English and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was good.

Go for the ambiance, stay for the beer!

On the inside, I felt like the layout was a bit strange. Having a giant bar in the middle of the room - splitting the two dining rooms. And not only that but they have these annoying wooden pillars that get in the way on the tabletops of the bar (I know it's meant to make it look more like a typical English pub, but it's impractical). The bar tenders were so busy in order to get their attention you had to just yell them your order (this is at 4:45 on a Sunday). Yet, when you could get their attention they were extremely friendly and let us order any beer samples, which was great.

We sat at a giant table and ordered our drinks, there were only 6 of us at the table at the time and our beers took a while to be delivered. I ordered the cheese with bread and veggies appetizer. It took me by surprise that the cheese was fluffy instead of gooey. So it was strange...I loved the pretzels though, they should just sell those on their own. They combo of the veggies with that type of cheddar fluff was a bit strange as well.

I ordered the fish and chips and asked for the fries to be seasoned before they brought them out because I noticed in pictures they didn't salt and pepper them. It came out, and they didn't season them (the only reason I ask for seasoning is because when you season them fresh out of the fryer, the seasoning sticks and tastes so much better). So that was a disappointment, I felt like the dish was okay. I've had better at Cheesecake Factory. The dessert we ordered were the cookies platter with ice cream and the cookies were divine. Just what I like gooey and thick.

So overall, the slow service, the mediocre food and just okay beer selection would not make me want to return. Especially how far it is away from my house.

Went for a scenic drive today with monkey and it end up being a very very hot day. Wish it was cold and I can tell myself it's a joke from the sun cos today is April 1st and where's the April Fools from this heat???

I just moved here to Florida like 3 and half week ago and looking at Prembroke Pines, it's more posher looking than the other part of South Florida where I live. So here is a pub located in a posh neighborhood and suprisingly in a mall!!!!! Guys and Gals this is the place to go on the weekend.

If you are a  dude, give the card to your ladies and tell her to go shopping while you sit and have a few pints, watching sports in a friendly, good customer service, spacious place.  They know when you low on your beer and ask if you need a refill ;-). Gals want to shop freely then dump your man here.  He can watch all the sports and drink his beer and will be drunk later to notice what damage you done to his card.

The sad thing was today was my first day of no drinking for a month but monkey had their beer and he said it was the best he had since moving to Florida.  We are from California like home to the best breweries around and we miss our beers.  Out of a few pubs we went to, I've never seen a thick menu which is nice as it gives you options.  So many excellent beer, wine, cocktails selection and yummy food.

I had their spring rolls and the wedge salad. Price are reasonable.  Again I forgot that  just because a menu said spring rolls it doesn't always mean it's rolled in rice paper!!!!! this was actually deep fried in a lightly crust. Small portion though.  As for the salad, it was a iceberg lettuce chopped in half, thrown on a plate and was swimming in a bucket of blue cheese dressing.  Now for someone that loves drenching their salad in dressing then this is it, but I'd rather have them put a bit on and if I needed more I'll ask for extra dressing.  This is why I couldn't give five stars.

I am still going back there to give them another chance as service is great, nice atmosphere, shopping is there and maybe the English food selection might be better

Came over here for Saint Patrick's Day 2012, they had advertised $5 Irish Car Bombs and $3 green beer, plus a block party.

I anticipated a horrible amount of people. But for 9:00pm it was easy to find parking. Even easier to get a hold of my Saint Patty's Day drinks! The Boyfriend and I got 2 Irish Car Bombs, a green beer and a Guinness all for $22!

I reside in the no-where's land that is Davie. Beautiful with it's rustic charm, but void of decent nightlife. So, I find myself traveling south to Miami nearly every weekend and even some weeknights if the spirit moves me, which can be a huge pain in the ass. But alas, I have found a place in my hood that serves up a good pint and yummy bites while offering an atmosphere akin to the bars/ gastropubs I know and love in Miami.

The beer selection is extensive, offering your classic domestics as well as a good variety of imported, and the prices are fair. Their liquor drinks are noteworthy too. They can whip you up something old fashioned like a sidecar or gin sling and their cocktails are great, all being named after Beatle songs. Ticket to ride is fruity and delicious fyi!

The food menu is great too. The Pub is a full on restaurant, not just a bar offering some small plates. You can get fish and chips of course and other classic pub fare like bangers and mash, or you can delve into a yummy panini or salad.

The Pub has a decent happy hour, and different specials throughout the week. Last time I came, I got fried pickles and artichoke dip from the selection of starters that are $3.95 from 3-7pm. If was my first experience with fried pickles and let me tell you, I'm hooked. Just call me Snookie and slap me with a spray tan, because I can't get enough of these damn fried pickles with the creamy delicious dill ranch dipping sauce.

All in all, the Pub offers a pretty snazzy atmosphere. Mismatched tables and oversized chairs, large chandeliers and the stain glass give it a cool, regal feel. The bartenders/ servers are in kilts, guess no one informed them that kilts are a Scottish thing, but ok. It is a great place for lunch, happy hour, dinner, and even brunch too!

The Pub is a wonderful hidden jewel in the Southwest corner of Pembroke Pines. I learned of it through word of mouth, and I'm very happy I did. There are few places where you can find authentic Irish food. Sure, it's not as if this was in Dublin, but it's good enough for me.

The selection of food, liquor, beer, and environment gives me a large variety of factors to enjoy. If you are in the mood for fish and chips (baked cod with french fries) or bangers and mash (sausages and mash potatoes), you will find both here. The menu has a vast collection of beers, whiskey, and scotches. They won me over when they serve scotch in the proper fashion. What is the proper fashion? Well, you are given three glasses, one with the scotch, one with ice, and one with distilled water. If you want the scotch neat, just have at the glass. If you want it on the rocks, just pour in as many rocks as you wish. If you feel the scotch is too strong, just pour in some water to dilute the drink. Mix and match and customize your serving.

Pro tip: Call ahead for reservations if possible. They will then use your phone number to call you back when your table is ready. You'll then be able to walk around the shops if you're so inclined.

Bottom Line: I can't wait until I go back.

Hadn't reviewed this place, because honestly I've been here so many times... I thought I already *had* reviewed it.  My most recent experience involved lunch after doing some holiday returns and exchanges.  Was in the mood for a good drink - and a hearty meal - and ended up at The Pub.

Lamb sliders are aaaamazing.  But I may be biased, because I'll order anything with goat cheese on it.  Also tried a bit of the Bangers & Mash - very delish.  Paired with a glass of my fav Strongbow (don't judge... it's real alcohol!)... and it was a very comforting lunch.

While we didn't order an app this time around... I'll always recommend the goat cheese dip and the Scottish Egg (purely for the uniqueness of it).

    4.5 stars

Almost by accident, this place is 100% legit. It looks like your average suburb-warrior stomping ground, and the clientele mostly fits that bill. It doesn't look divey, and their registers have touch screens. Not exactly what i'd consider authentic pub atmosphere.

Nevertheless, I was under the guide of Jose P. and he often knows what the hell is up in Pembroke Pines. He had been hyping up this place for weeks and after the wait, our large group was seated, and the pub began to impress.

First thing first. The beer list is great, but the prices are incredibly reminiscent of wetlab. I am not kidding. Three philosophers quadrupel and other impressive craft beers for 4 bucks and change?!?! 4 beer 5oz flights for a few dollars more?!?!

YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME PEMBROKE PINES.

Secondly, the food here is really, really good. Like my buddy mentioned, I ordered the BBQ burger, with a bit of the double chocolate stout in there for measure. That was extremely good. Also, brings a fried pickle, and that's also, very good. Keep in mind I don't like pickles.

But the fish and chips are impossibly good. I mean, really #$@#$ good. Light and crispy batter, delicious white fish. Even the tarter sauce was out of sight.

Where did you come from 'The Pub'? How do you manage to squeeze out cheap beer, and delicious bar food out of your tired suburb restaurant exterior? You're sneaky, let me tell you. You're my favorite place in Pembroke Pines.

Cool spot in Pembroke Pines to grab a beer or some scotch and whiskey (or all of the above.

The beer selection was pretty good with some nice crafts but I believe their calling is on the liquor side of things.

Food was pretty good. The fish and chips were a little on the stronger taste of fish than I prefer. We also had the wedge salad and bacon wrapped dates. Both of those dishes were also pretty tasty.

If you are in the area, I would say this spot is worth a visit!

Another review and another standard sentence, if I lived closer I would be a regular at this place. No BS Folks.

This Pub is a great place to have some beers, relax, talk with your friends, or watch a game. I didn't eat...I just drank..lol. The bartender recommended a Smithwicks ale topped with Guinness and I must say it was rather tasty. The ale cut the bitterness of Guinness and it made the beer go down really smooth. There is no way in hell I could drink Guinness all day, but mixed this way I could.

As stated by other reviews, this place has a nice vibe. It's a large joint with all the British design points including the huge Union Jack Flag painted on the ceiling. In the dining room there is real long table with the two huge chairs at the end and it's pretty damn cool. Man, talk about living the Excalibur dream sitting at that thing. Next time I go I'm going to be sitting at that $hit eating with my hands...LOL. But as a guy who smells like beer and old spice, I'm a sucker for the women in the kilts or are they private school uniform skirts...not sure but I like them:)

This place is worth the trip and I'll be back for sure. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

Ok. Were do I begin?? I started coming here and instantly fell in love with the environment, the comfortable - yet not trashy crowd  We waited at the bar, tried out some good beers, and waited for our table. The staff has always been amazing and incredibly helpful! After a very accurate wait time, this is what I found:

    1.  Comfortable booths and different sized tables.

    2. QUICK waiters (in kilts! HELLO!)

    3. Varied selection of beers - knowledgeable bar tenders for everything else.

    Now the good stuff ...

    1. Burgers and sandwiches in salty and sweet pretzel buns. Delish.

    2. Finger licking wings! And I DON'T eat with my hands. Yup. That's how good it was.

    3. By far - the best, crispy, moist, tender, and succulent fish and chips you will ever try. Now, I've gone to a variety of places in an attempt to find better fish and chips than the ones they serve here. Every place has fallen short of the pub.

Take my word. I've already done the research for you. ;)

It's great to see that Pembroke Gardens has really taken off. Part of me wishes it had a strong anchor, like a movie theater, or better yet, an indie or Sundance theater. However, the few fun bar/restaurants help to do the trick. The Pub is my favorite of them at Pembroke Gardens.

Let's get the dirty stuff out of the way from the beginning. The food is nothing to write home about. It's pretty standard and a bit heavy. If we were chugging a Guinness in Wexford on a cold winter's night, the myriad of tan fried foods would be perfect. However, there's no simulating that here.

Two of my besties and I frequent the Pub to have a few beers and to catch up on gossip. I never eat anything unless I'm completely desperate. (besides, Lime Mexican grill is just a short walk to the left!) IF you are going to have a snack with your beers, go for the curry chips.

Now that I've completely pooped on their food parade, let's sing some praise. The beer selection and quality/temperature of their taps are just outstanding. Have a few pints of Guinness. There's that old wives tale that a Guinness is like having a meal. Well, this is a good thing for me since I don't like the food at the Pub! The blue ribbon winner for me, though, is the Boddingtons on tap. If beer came with coolwhip on top, it would be the Boddingtons at The Pub.

I spent a month in Ireland last year, though, and learned from a Guinness technician (oh yes, they travel the country in Guinness vans, maintaining standards) that a pint of skim milk or OJ have more calories and sugar than a pint of the big G.

SO, go ahead and guzzle, fatty, you know you wanna!

Ok, so I gotta admit I spend a lot of time in this place. I'm like
Tommy in Goodfellas - a few more minutes in here and I could be a stool. This is my local watering hole since the day it opened and it's definitely become a fixture for a lot of locals and not-so-locals as well. I've always appreciated the vibe of this place. It's very upbeat, crowded, and anyone and everyone seems to be here together on any given night.

Lately there have been a couple of instances of customer service that have stood out. A group of us got together here a couple of weeks ago for some drinks for my friend's birthday. We decided to smoke some stogies while our server brought us our black label on the rocks. We made our way outside to light up. Since none of us were smokers we didn't have a lighter. I went back inside to ask the bartender if he had a light and he didn't. A manager that was within earshot let me know she could get one. I waited with my buddies as she emerged with a lighter. She even told us we could hang on to it since there were a few of us. Score!

Thursdays are busy here and last night was no exception. I walked in and the bar was about one person deep all the way around. The manager (the same that went out of her way to get the lighter) greeted me and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered my beers and she rang me up quickly. I never name names on my reviews but I have to break my own rule to give kudos to Heather for great customer service. Formerly being in the biz myself, I can appreciate a restaurant manager who is constantly hustling and bussing tables themselves. It's refreshing to see someone lead by example.

The food is constantly good here and the servers frequently deliver friendly service. My favorite meal is the double chocolate stout BBQ burger that comes with grilled Guinness onions. I love having that chased with a hobgoblin beer. You can't go wrong with their fries either. The fries are similar to steak fries and they don't skimp on the portions. Oh yeah...there's usually a band playing on Thursday nights and who doesn't like live music to go along with their beer?
