Great food, good service and the owner Jim is the nicest!! Try the chicken livers...they are my favorite but you better have a BIG appetite.

What a good steak house. The steaks are always thick, the onion rings are wonderful and the service is always good.  In the many times I have been here it is easy to see why this is Topeka's best Steakhouse (and it's not even in Topeka.)

Puffy's Steakhouse became a staple of my family when I was a teenager. I can still remember looking at the thick steaks in their cooler on the grocery store side. They have never been terribly fancy which keeps them from being pretentious. It is a mix of a modern day steakhouse mixed with a small town diner.

Easily one of my favorite things of this steakhouse is easily the mountain of onion rings you get for cheap. If you are ordering for two, get the half order.  The steaks are what you would expect from America's beef belt.
