  Very good food!  The owner is always there and very attentive to his patrons.  The tortilla soup is very different than any I've had anywhere else, almost creamy, very tasty!

  I have to agree with other yelpers on this one and say how fantastic the food is here. By far the best quality tasting Mexican food in the Belvidere and Rockford area. Nice authentic food with affordable pricing for each item on the menu, which is quite expansive (that's a good thing!).
  The restaurant is small and cozy and fits around 70 people total.
  The decoration is creative and unique as I can definitely sense the feeling of enjoying my time as if I was in a hacienda in Mexico. The business is fairly new and the owners are very friendly and make sure their customers leave happy. If you're in the area and in the mood for Mexican, make sure to come on by to Quinta Carmina Mexican Cuisine.

  I always like to try a new place that's very close to home.  Considering the vast wasteland that is good Mexican food in Rockford, I was skeptical.  Quinta Carmina is a pleasant surprise.  It is very clean, very light and comfortable.  The pollo en mole was delicious-a nice depth of flavor which I expect from mole. The portion size was large, and I had plenty left over to bring home.  It had a real kick to it, but all in all, probably the most authentic tasting mole I've had outside of Chicago.  The waitstaff was very attentive and I was surprised how busy it was for a Thursday evening.  I will definitely be back.  It's refreshing to have a dining experience where you leave feeling that the owners really care about your satisfaction.

  Great food and a clean/sharp atmosphere here. By far the best of the Mexican restaurants located in Belvidere IL. or even Rockford IL. for that matter.  Menu is varied to any taste and authentic to be sure. You can't go wrong here...Fantastic!!
