Had lunch there today with Kung Pao combo. Â Service was okay although not asked if I wanted lunch or regular size. Â I did eat the Kung Pao Chicken. Â Found the fried rice and egg roll not so good. Â This is really a small place and was consistently about 33% full so looks as if others find food quite satisfactory. Â For myself, great prefer Wu's at lunch.
Review Source:At first the service seemed great. We were seated fast and drinks came right away. We gave our order and the food came out very fast and looked really good. For the most part the food was OK, some overcooked, but not horrible. The issues we had been clean utensils, we had to get up to find someone for replacements. When we wanted refills on our drinks, we had to get up to find a server. The food also is very over priced for what it is. If the service was outstanding, I might have justified the price, but the service out right sucked after you got your food. You never saw the server again unless you got up and went looking. After getting the bill and waiting for to go containers...I was just done with the place. Last time I will give them my business.
Review Source:It has been my experience that most Vietnamese food in the mid-west has been poor. Â I was addicted to Pho while I lived in Los Angeles. Â I couldn't get enough of the stuff. Â Well, I nearly fell over and how big of a game they bring in this restaurant. Â I hadn't had Vietnamese like this since I lived on the west coast! Â The Pho was great, and came with a pile of bean sprouts and other condiments to make it the way you like. Â Do yourself a favor, skip the plain jane Chinese and order from the Vietnamese menu. Â You'll definitely enjoy it!
Review Source:I was new to the area and decided to try out nearby restaurants to see if I can get a taste of authentic Asian food in the Midwest.
Coming from the East Coast with an area highly populated with good Vietnamese restaurants, Qui's Restaurant had big shoes to fill! But I'll tell you that they definitely did.
Very authentic Viet food like Pho (noodles in broth soup). Just make sure to order from the laminated smaller menu in the middle of the main menu because that's where all the Vietnamese Cuisine stuff is. Don't be a newbie and order Chinese food here that's available everywhere.
Enjoy.
I go there for the Pho!! I've been around the US eating vietnamese food for a long time and by far this has the best flavor for noodle soup. I've been waiting for a good vietnamese restaurant  to come to Fort Wayne. Now Qui's will save my family and I the trip to chicago or out of town for some Pho.  Vietnamese food is so much healthier then your typically chinese food. So I highly recommend looking at their vietnamese menu selection if you haven't tried it already!
Review Source:3 of us went here last night. Â The restaurant is never very busy, I think it does more carry-out than dine-in, but it is a very pretty restaurant. Â We ordered egg drop and hot and sour soup, egg roll, chicken fried rice, sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Â Service was quick, but the language barrier made it seem a little cold - not too friendly. Â The food was good and had a beautiful presentation. Â We asked if we could have our rice fried instead of getting white rice - it is $1.75 extra - more than worth it. Â The serving sizes are large, so YES, we get to have the leftovers tomorrow! YUM.
Review Source:Recently changed hands & renamed "Qui's Restaurant" Chinese & Vietnamese Cuisine. Soups (pho) & noodle dishes very good.
I just went there again last night (3/12/11) and had the #H2 Seafood Rice Noodle Soup for $8.95. Â It comes in a large soup bowl, and has shrimp, fake crab meat, a scallop, fish balls, lots of rice noodles, and a pile of bean sprouts on the side. Â It really hit the spot on a cold, windy night!
They do have free WiFi. Â The SSID is: 08FX10038827, the password is: 2A5C94A9FC125897564FA12345. Â You will need to actually type it in, not cut/paste it (at least on my iPod Touch 4G I did). Â If this doesn't work, ask the lady at the cashier's desk for the card with the WiFi password on it (she keeps it in the cash drawer).
Oh, one slightly negative comment I have...it's when somebody is having the satay beef appetizer. Â It comes with a mini-barbecue grill that gives off CLOUDS of smoke! Â I don't know how healthy/unhealthy this is, but it's not pleasant to be near.
