Just moved to area and scoping out restaurants etc...went there last night for the first time -not really a restaurant (if at all-aka not what i expected haha) food was limited but edible bar-fare...so as restaurant review solely I'd give the place a 2/5 but food was dirt cheap at least! as a bar it seems like its a fun place! Seems to be a great local hangout-bartender and patrons alike are friendly (she actually hand-squeezed lemons to make lemonade for someone!) would go back for beer and music night but not for food (silly me). It's not a restaurant!

Very chill but festive atmosphere. Good live music on the weekend. Delicious pale ale and IPA. Friendly bartenders. Awesome bouncer/door dude. Good crowd. No attitude just great beer in a good, clean, comfy spot. Oh, and a giant jenga if you're feeling competitive.

Pretty great.  You can bring your dog inside, play cornhole, throw darts, and drink beer made by Railhouse (as well as ordinary beers).  The inside has a military theme and the ceilings are really high.  It feels like a converted warehouse.  When I went, they didn't have liquor, but I only wanted beer anyway.

Great local bar with friendly folks and good beer.
They recently added wine and I am looking forward to when they open the kitchen.

I have been to a lot of breweries up and down the East Coast (Maine to Florida) and have tried many independent beers. Railhouse Brewery really impresses me considering that i am a native of Moore County living "up north" now. Although a heavy beer, the oatmeal stout is outstanding and has a coffee kick to it. The other beers are worth trying and the bartenders will cheerfully provide you samples to try (almost) everything. Great environment inside and virtually free of any self-pretentiousness. One of the best bars in Moore County & one of the top breweries in North Carolina & the South. One minor downside.. they do not serve food. To others, it looks like you are entering a Public Storage building but that's what makes it even cooler!
