Ranch House

First visit here and it was everything you'd expect on a Saturday night, in a Texas honky tonk. Unfortunately, my lack of dancing skills proved my undoing.  However, the place is huge, service is very good, beer is cold, and music is great (loud enough, but not too loud).

It's okay... Closes at 1am on Friday which blows and on Saturday the band plays for too long. It would be better if the Dj played some songs you could actually dance to when the band finally does take a break.

I love this little honkey-tonk.  The beer is always cold and the dance floor is always hopping.  I've only ever been on a Saturday night.  It is a good place to meet up with friends and have a good time.  I haven't tried the food yet so I can't review that.  I am assuming it is your typical bar food.  If you're ever in the neighborhood try them out!  Only downfall...you can still smoke in there so you leave smelling like an ashtray :(
