When we come in early to visit my cousins in Whitehouse, we stop here for Breakfast. They have infinite patience for my kids, who can't sit still or decide what they want, and constantly say Pizza, Â but Giovannis on 22 is not open that early, so we come here, and their food is excellent. They are the nicest staff, and food is always exactly what we wanted. We feel at home here, and love the food.
Review Source:I love the breakfast menu, the high protein egg-white omelet with chicken is one of my faves. Â Very good navy-bean soup and lentil... I've taken the navy-bean home in containers I enjoy it so much. Â We consider this a go-to place... haven't reviewed it before but have been here so many times over the years and consider this to be a solid place to grab a diner-type meal...
Review Source:Stopped here on 7/9/2011 en route to CT from PA. Saw the sign on I-78 and figured it would be better than fast food.
I ordered the spinach and portabello salad and wife ordered the Readington Omelette (broccoli, cheddar, and bacon); we split half and half. Salad was good; baby spinach, some gorgonzola cheese and grilled portobellos ringed with tomato slices and artichoke hearts, served with pita wedges. There could have been more spinach, but it was adequate for a light lunch. Omelette was excellent, huge and served with hash-browns and toast. Splitting these two was the perfect-sized lunch.
Menu has loads of options, all standard diner fare. I'd definitely come back here when passing through the area. Service was very nice, quick, and efficient.
Ok, I live in Brooklyn, just passing through New Jersey to get to Pennsylvania. Compared to other places I've been to in the outskirts of the city, this place was a great little rest stop for a motorcycle voyage. I had a small Greek salad. My boyfriend had a grilled cheese and fries. Good diner food. Clean and friendly.
Review Source:We stopped here for Lunch on our way up to CT. The waitresses were friendly and the place was clean. I got the Portabello & Spinach salad and my husband got the MonteCristo (or the Heartattack Sandwich as I call it) Both were exceptionally good. We will most definately stop here again, hopefully for dessert (the carrot cake looked AMAZING).
Review Source:Tried this diner for lunch last week. Â Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap lunch special. Â The chicken soup was good, the buffalo chicken wrap wasn't bad, and the jello was standard. Â It's a typical Greek diner, the service was pretty good and the food wasn't bad. Â I would probably stop in for lunch again if I'm in the area.
