Typical Greek diner, with a nice decor. Â I just wished they did not try and put Greek influences in everything. Â There are 2 different Greek omelets. One has gyro meat, one has spinach and feta. Â What next greek Cheerios with moussaka?
They have very solid diner food. Â The also have Eggs Benedict as an unlisted special. Â The hollandaise was thick and possibly home made. Â The waitress did not confirm when I asked. Â It was very busy.
They do breakfast all day long. Â I go here frequently for breakfast. Â IT is very good and affordable. Â
They will customize almost anything. Â I hear that the lunch is superb!
Oh, the Midwest...how different you are from my native Southern California. Though, not in a bad way. While the food that I had here at Red Apple was average, the service was pretty entertaining. Our waitress was a tall, thin blonde lady who laughed when I asked her if there was anything healthy on the menu. It seems to be quite a local spot where "everybody knows your name" because later I watched her smack a patron on the head with her notepad. I wish I could do that with my customers! If you want a down to earth atmosphere with home style food, then this is the place to be.
Review Source:Good breakfast spot. Â The food is really good. Â The service is quick and friendly. Â The prices are very reasonable. Â These three elements make for a solid pick in the area.
I've been a couple of times for dinner, and it's your run of the mill Midwestern restaurant. Â Didn't return due to lack of healthy options.
Great place in Maryville to get breakfast. They do more then breakfast, (including daily specials) but I've only been here for breakfast. In my experiences the waffles, omelets, and corn beef hash are all good choices, but I guarantee that they will have something on their menu that will make you happy.
It's a favorite spot of the locals, and it can become very busy on weekend mornings.
