#1 - Okay so yes I am a Beer Snob - but my fellow Beer Snobs be warned!!!! This place advertises 40 Taps... ads include brewerys such as Left Hand and Boulevard - something that's not all that common in a town that as a whole places Budweiser on the same level as Louis III and Single Malt Scotch... However they have a beer selection full of Crafty Wanna Be Real Beer selections and the few real CRAFT Beers they have are served poorly. Example: they feature Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout - one of my absolute most favorite beers in the world!!! However I considering asking Left Hand to sue this place for destroying their reputation... the ale was flat, tasteless, and was clearly served from a CO2 Tap instead of a Nitrogen Tap, either that or it was poured at noon and served to me at 5pm - flat, no lace, no head absolutely the worst pour of this great ale I've ever had.
#2 Food - Again I tend to be a bit critical however Pub Grub is just that Pub Grub and as Pub Grub goes - it's a decent menu. They haven't tried to re-invent the wheel or try to be a Gastropub with fancy sandwiches that are too messy to handle or over stuffed to the point that you need a Fork and Knife or a degree from a fancy Culinary Institute to eat. It's a Greasy Alcohol Absorbing tasty meal and that is exactly what they should be producing there. I had a average excuse for a Philly Cheese Steak - a patty of Steak'um, some White American Cheese Food instead of real Swiss as advertised and a small handful of onion and pepper on a cheap hoggie bun. My spouse had a greasy burger over cooked on a generic non-descript bun with the accouterments she selected from the BYO menu options... nothing that will knock your socks off. Price - for me a bit more than I'd like to pay for this quality, service, and atmosphere but it's Pub Grub and it didn't require 4 Tums and a Pepcid within an hour so good show.
#3 Atmosphere/Service- our first server had to be replaced cause she couldn't serve us the alcoholic beverages we ordered... It's a Bar/Country Dance Hall type place - why have a minor serving?? Anyways, some what attentive service - when we took issue about the beer they did take that off our tab which was appreciated and noted in their favor as it was an abomination. Run down tables and booths, dirty boot scooting floor, poor lighting and just a bit of worn down appearance. However, it is a bar and dance place - it's designed to be darker when the band is playing and the sun is down so a lot of that wouldn't be noticed. There is noticeable door staff and security was starting to come in. Seems like a Blue Collar place - GI's from Fort Sill and middle class from town, not seedy or trashy at all... Â and they seem to have a decent line up of live music booked for the evening after dinner hours!
Website says kids eat for 1.50 on sundays.  Had two kids on sunday but that wasn't the case.  Told the waitress about it and she had no knowledge of such a promotion.  Anyway so I paid full price for their meals.  Décor looked as if it was under construction because I don't believe a concrete floor is very appealing.  Food was decent and you get huge portions for what you pay.  I may or may not go back but I am certain that I shouldn't know more about what their website says than the employees that work there.  That's BS in my book.
