After friends of ours consistently recommending this place, we decided to visit this place on Chinese New Year 2013. Â I wanted a completely authentic Chinese menu as I'm extremely opinionated about Chinese food having grown up with this community. Â We tried the following dishes: ginger steamed whole fish, chow fun noodles, shu Mai (appetizer) and a Chinese leafy vegetable dish. Â
The chow fun was so moist and one of the best dishes I've tried in a while. Â I dream about the taste and its too bad I'm on the west side or it would be my weekly dish to devour! The ginger fish was so delicate that the scallions and ginger were a perfect combination to lightly marinate this dish. Â The Chinese vegetable from the Chinese menu was so green and freshly made - nor your usual in restaurants. Â And finally the shu Mai - just so so. Â Would not reorder. Â Too salty for our taste buds.
Cheap and delicious- undoubtedly the best in this city. Â The Chinese owner was friendly and cared about our likes and dislikes. Â A must go!
