Wow, a place has to be pretty bad for me to review while I'm still here. First off, there is a $5 cover. You would think with a cover they would offer some type of drink special. Yeah, not happening. I get to the bar and its $4.50 (!!!!) for a well drink. I'm sorry, I didn't know I got transported to an upscale venue by paying $5.
There are very little tables which means I will be standing all night. That would be okay, except there is nowhere to stand, except the bar. The bartender ignored us for a good 10 minutes. Finally ordered and he underpoured my drinks. If I'm paying 5 bucks with tip a drink, you would think my drink would be strong. It wasn't. Well, I just ordered another drink and mysteriously the price dropped by 2 dollars? This is the same bartender too. I'm in for a fun night (obligatory sarcasm)
They have a very specific clientele, I get that, but that clientele gets tapped out quick. They have to appeal to a younger crowd that also enjoys retro music. I have been going to Club 101, E9, Area 51 since I was 13 (all ages shows and such) and it breaks my heart to give such an awful review, but this reiteration is probably the worst. it tries too hard to be upscale without offering upscale service and drinks.
If I have to add anything later I will update, but after almost 2 hours my one star stands.
