OK - ever been to place that the grub was so awesome you'd eat off a dirty plate?! Â The dishes were very clean and the food was hands down so the best Mexican food I've had in 30 years in this part of the world. Â Lengua AND Tripa AND Carnitas in my burrito (especial - gracias!) Â Dirt cheap - eat outside under a tarp at a picnic table, who cares!!! Never heard of it? You have now!! Â This place is great and I'll be recommending to all my buds.
Review Source:OK, this place is a hidden gem - one of those places you wish you knew about when you are traveling. Great Mexican food, burritos, tacos. Â Fresh, fast and cheap. Delicious. Â Why anyone would go to a chain to get fast food when they could go to Ricky's, I don't know.
Wonderful waitresses whose English and Spanish are interchangeable.
Don't want to cook? Â Go to Ricky's, get take out.
Ricky's is the perfect place for two friends to eat a delicious lunch for less than $8. Here's how:
1. Sit outside in the tented patio. A server will be be right with you.
2. Order yellow cheese dip to go with your complimentary chips and salsa. Ask for limes to squeeze over your chips. Sprinkle with salt and enjoy with a tall glass of water.
3. Order a burrito of your liking, tell the server you're going to split it and get white cheese melted on top.
4. When the server asks if she can bring you anything, ask for more chips.
5. Walk inside and pay when you're through. It'll be $5.75. Tip your server $2.
