Easily one of the best bars in town

It has been a dream of "M" to come here since a he was a little boy.  I know what your thinking, he dreams big right?  Anyway we had the opportunity and man are we happy we took it.  A true dive bar, I had the sense I was in a ships hull on the bottom of the ocean drinking with some regulars on their first shore leave in years. You won't see snookie here, no way, this is a locals place.  Yes they have ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, and some great drink prices.  They pour them heavy here and they only take cash.  Come to think of it we saw a lot of Cash only signs up in town this weekend.  
Anyway, one of the friendly locals told us NOT to park in the lot.  "Cops will bust ya right away"  awesome tip we took to heart and moved the car to a street spot.  
We played a few games of ping pong, downed some shots, $10 for a mini shaker, and a few other drinks. I think the bill came to $25 and we gave a pretty solid tip with that.  
Yes, Riggers is headed to the Dive Bar Hall of Fame.  We are headed back.

Since I have been about 17... it's been an option to every weekend's puzzling questions of "What do you wanna do?" A favorite for some of my friends... but there is not much that sets it apart from the traditional and all too common dive bar in Seaside Heights. Their biggest attribute I think is the presentation; appealing to all ages and classes... not exclusively catering to tourists.

Located in the heart of the heights... it's dive-bar atmosphere has decent drink prices... $2 drafts and $5.50 Shakers depending on the special of the night and the time of the year. Plenty of entertainment.... air hockey, pool... etc. An awesome poster-child bar for the Jersey Shore!!!

Weather your an infrequent shore visitor or native... a visit to Riggers is always an option!
