Try the Salvadoran food.
I had Pupusas - they are wonderful, meat and cheese filled "pies."
I don't know how else to describe them, but you should definitely try one.
The Bolillo I ordered is a "sandwich" but I ate mine like a salad because it looked more like a salad in a bread "bowl."
It was very good mix of fresh vegetables and a warm chicken filling.
It was good - you won't be disapointed.
Someone left some coupons for this place at my workplace so I thought I'd check it out. Â Pupusas? Â Never heard of 'em so I googled it and they sounded good so I thought I'd check the place out, and I'm so glad I did! Â
It's a Salvadoran / Mexican place opened about 4 months ago. Â I tried the Pupusas of course since it's obviously their specialty and I was not disappointed! Â The mild sauce they gave me at first was quite good, but later they offered me a hot sauce and of course I had to have it. Â Yep - it's hot alright and very tasty - definitely ask for the hot if you can handle it. Â I've never liked blazing hot sauces that are hot just for the sake of being hot, and this isn't - it's made with 5 different peppers and the heat just comes naturally. Â
They give you chips and salsa too - the chips weren't anything special but the homemade salsa's fairly unique and tasty.  There's nothing generic about the food (except for the chips), well, I only had the Pupusas so I guess I can only comment on those right  now, but I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!
