Slow slow service place was not busy had a salad -upgraded it with artichokes  for $1.50 could barley see any - lettuce warm... dressing was good but the croutons were not homemade they pretty much sucked. Got my beer- not super cold and could not finish it..I would say this place is a fun bar...not a place I should have chosen for a lunch....
Review Source:Owner simply wants your money and has little regard for your satisfaction. Â High turnover, inexperienced staff, cheap Sysco food. Â Going to Rivertap is like playing Russian Roulette you never know what you will end up with. but you have strong odds to get a server that hardly visits your table and lacks basic customer interaction skills and professionalism.
Review Source:I have been to Rivertap several times. I have enjoyed the atmosphere so much I decided to bring in friends from out of town to try it. The expansion of the building was nice, the decor a little changed since the last visit but the service.... Left me upset and embarrassed. The organization of staff since the remodel seems lacking. Along with getting rid of Taco Del Mar, it seems that the previously friendly waitstaff has gone by the wayside as well. Specifics? We had to ask to be served beer. Yet again to order food. When we asked the female bartender about getting someone to serve us, she snottily looked at us and gave a sarcastic reply to the effect that someone would be there soon. Our order was wrong.
I can honestly say that I will be going to Clock Tower Ales or traveling to Hood River from now on.
Yeah, a Brew Pub open on a Sunday evening in The Dalles! Nice outside seating right on the downtown/main street. Inside is casual but very comfortable with a definite Gorge feel. Full bar and a good selection of beer on tap. Quick, efficient service. Decent menu from burgers, to pizza to salad to wings and Nachos. Semi kid friendly with daily food and drink specials.
