I used YELP to find some place to eat on my way to Turkey Run State Park. The good reviews made me intrigued. My wife and 3 kids thought it was great. It's a small town restaurant that is a must stop on your way down RT-41.

This is our standard place when coming to Attica for hunting.  The food can be a bit hit or miss.  This year, we had some fried foods (chicken tenders, blooming onion, and mozzarella sticks).  They all kind of tasted the same because they were all cooked in old oil.  I kind of felt a bit sick after.  The prime rib (served Friday and Saturday) was about 50% fat but the meat part was really tasty and the 12 oz cut was only $14.  The "sauteed" mushrooms don't seem to be sauteed but kind of boiled in a butter-wine sauce which is actually delicious.  I also like their potato wedges.  Yum!  The bar is always a lot of fun here and after many years of visiting Attica, most of the waitresses and bartenders know us.  I like this place and we will continue to come here every year.

My GF and I rode my motorcycle from Lafayette to Attica and found this place.  We love the friendly servers & bartenders.  The beer is priced well and the one thing to order is their pork loin sandwich -- it is delish.  We have been there twice and looking forward to going there again very soon.

They have a restaurant side which is may be good for kids and groups -- we're more into the bar thing.

There are a lot of small towns in Indiana, and I like to go for a drive and check out the old Main Street in these towns and related old buildings.  I actually stumbled upon a 90 foot waterfall by this town!  Indiana's tallest.

Anyway, this place was homely and comfy with dark blue carpet and lots of blue hairs to match.  Their menu was cheap.  Ordering a fish sandwich in Indiana is a crap shoot... but I'm a gamblin' man, especially when the stakes are so low!

It was the best fish sandwich I've had in at least a year!  (And I had recently had a killer one in Little Havana.  Just sayin'.)  I was shocked!  About 1/3 lb of fresh cod fried to perfection on a toasted buttered bun with onions and fresh green leaf lettuce.  Dress that thing with tartar and Tabasco and MAN that's a hell of a $4 sandwich!

I love the hidden gems.  (!!!)
