I've been here numerous times with my wife and, on some occasions, children.
The atmosphere is typical sports bar feel. Multiple TVs always playing some sort of sports event, paraphernalia on the walls, beer, loud music/game, etc.
The service is hit-or-miss. Our first time there the service was amazing, but it was a slow day for them. When they start getting more people, they slow down significantly. That is my only negative thing to say about this place.
The food is also your typical sports bar fare but they do it well. I have had multiple dishes and they're great, especially for the price. They have a different special every day and it usually consists of a dish and a beer (or well-drink I've learned) for $6.99-8.99. Not bad at all!
We will continue going as we do but will try to avoid the extremely busy times.
Fun and friendly atmosphere. Great staff. The food was perfect and delicious. I ordered the mushrooms as an appetizer and the Superior Burger for my meal. i dont think I've had a burger that good in years. Hell, I'm not sure I've ever had one that good. The fried mushrooms put Buffalo Wild Wings's mushrooms to shame, and the portion is so much more generous. A+ restaurant. We'll definitely be returning and recommending!
Review Source:My friend brought me here for lunch one day. Â I was very pleasantly surprised, since there are lots of TVs everywhere with a variety of sports to watch, there's a full bar with a great selection of drinks and GOOD beers at good prices, and the food was delicious! It was pretty busy for a weekday at lunch, but our server, Chris, kept a close eye on the bar and all of the tables and everyone was very well taken care of. Â I've been back since and wasn't taken care of well by another waitress one time, but every other time we have gone there since then we have been lucky that Chris has been working and we get more great service. Â The bar and employees are friendly and it's a fun place to be. Â I can see our group becoming regulars there just to be part of the almost family-like atmosphere. Â I have already recommended this place to friends, and will continue to do so.
Review Source:This place is really great. They have really, really good food specials every day. For example, one day is a big Chicago hot dog and a beer for around $8. And you can get craft beer at that price, not just Coors light. The fish tacos are delicious too! Lots of TVs, great place to watch sports! And the employees are super friendly.
Review Source:Sat on the patio & enjoyed the evening. Small place but the service is great and the beer cold. Very unassuming. We ordered the fried pickles, Philly cheesesteak, fish & chips, and two kids meals. The food was really good - even our picky kiddos gobbled up the dinners. Give it a try. You will be pleasantly surprised!
Review Source:So my wife has eaten here a few times and said I needed to come try it out. Â I took the kids at lunch time and met her there. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. Â I ordered the Chicago Hot Dog and she had the smothered breakfast burrito while the kids had the mini burgers. Â
The fried pickles are outstanding. Â You get 4 fried spears and the batter is incredible. Â Light and flaky without being overly oily.
Not sure what motivated me to try the Chicago hot dog as I normally avoid them like the plague.  The hot dog was rather large and I loved the toppings.  The fries were good but nothing to write home about.  The missus let me try a bite of  smothered breakfast burrito.  That bite was heaven.  Seriously at lunchtime I was regretting not going for the breakfast burrito.  The kids seemed to like their mini burgers. Â
This place would have probably gotten a 4 based on food but the customer service was outstanding. Â Our kids are pretty little and normally just split a kids meal. Â The server noticed the look on our face when the 2 orders of miniburgers were served and took one off the bill as we all realized there had been a miscommunication. Â Didn't even ask for him to do that he just offered it up. Â That makes the place superb in my view as customer service often gets overlooked.
The all-day breakfast burrito smothered in green chili was amazing. Â Others in our group had the burgers which looked fantastic (quality fresh meat, generous portion). Â
This place isn't trying to be anything more than advertised.....a comfortable family-friendly neighborhood pub with good food and good service. Â A welcomed addition to Superior. Â
Can't wait for the spring when the garage door walls go in to open up the front to the patio.
