Rockwell's Restaurant Inc

Went here recently. I tried the "corned beef special", which is basically corned beef with Swiss, coleslaw, and Russian Dressing on rye bread. As much as I hate to say this, this corned beef is great if you like ham sandwiches, because that is what it tasted like. It also had a sickly sweet taste to it, and everyone at the table with me agrees it missed all corned beef flavor. After that, one of the people at my table, who did not find the taste as bad as I did, decided to trade me her Mushroom Bacon Spinach salad for my sandwich. The salad, however, was just as bad. The greens were alright, however the dressing was basically a pool of oil by the time I started eating. I have to say, it wasn't the worst meal I have eaten, but I would not recommend those dishes. I will say, though, the main reason it did not get only one star is because the mozzarella sticks there are pretty good, and my friend's wrap was apparently nice,  so the whole place isn't that bad. But, maybe I just ordered a bad hand. I will say that I probably will not come there again.

I met a couple of friends here for lunch a couple weeks ago and it was terrible. I got scallops wrapped on bacon and they looked and tasted liked the were microwaved. My friend got a mushroom veggie sandwich and it was soaked in balsamic dressing and had to be eaten with a fork and knife. I gave it 2 stars because the wait staff was  friendly.

Hadn't been to Rockwell's in years.  Met a friend there for lunch today and had a good experience.  Decent lunch menu and a friendly waitress.  I had a buffalo chicken wrap and my friend had a cheeseburger, both with a side of natural cut fries.  Both were excellent and were served quickly.

It was a little cold inside and unfortunately their credit card machine was not working, but the waitress was very apologetic and accommodating.  She even suggested we could settle up next time we were in the area.  Fortunately we had enough cash on us to settle the bill.

I was surprised it wasn't busier than it was.  We would both go back their for lunch in a heartbeat.
