Great place for a quick bite to eat. Too bad it's only open from November thru March. Animal friendly too. Will come back in the fall!

Good food, good service, off the beaten path in La Quinta/Indio area.  I had the nachos and a great salad.  My partner had a hamburger.  They were all great.  I will come back next time I'm here.

    This place is HAPPENING!

I was visiting PS and came here on a Sunday evening thanks to the recommendation of a friend. It's a bit out of the way: down a long unlit dirt road, but that did not deter the crowds! The place was absolutely packed.

Live music (and good music!), a fun crowd, mixed and rowdy, definitely a locals hangout and a good family restaurant. It was a bit loud but that was due to the band and part of what made the atmosphere fun. I'm sure during the day it is significantly more mellow and a great place to relax or come for a polo match. Cool building, very open with high ceelings and a large outdoor patio. And being right in the middle of the polo grounds the view is gorgeous.

Food is very reasonably priced, simple mex-american and tasty. I had a BBQ chicken pizza and finished the whole thing :) Cocktails were stiff (the way I like 'em!). Staff was charming and funny.

I will definitely be back soon for seconds!

Absolutely love the Cantina! Such a nice and fun atmosphere with excellent service and even better food! You have to try the ahi tar tar cocktail, sit out on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view! The bartender Fernando always remembers my name and the night crowd is so much fun. Way better than the clubby crowd. I have even come for a few polo games for a nice fun day in the sun. The Cantina is also open during the Coachella Festival... I was sad last year that it was so packed I couldn't get a seat!

Also, the Cantina is one of the only bars with a pool table that isn't .. well, seedy. I love playing pool but I feel like every bar that has a table is shady or too packed.

Overall, my experience at the Cantina is always enjoyable and I hope I get to enjoy it for many years to come.

Very casual atmosphere, but excellent quality Bar food.  The prices are unbelievable.   Get the slider appetizer, or calamari tacos.  The chicken sandwich is excellent, as well as the grilled cheese.  Their skinny margherita is excellent, in fact all their specialty drinks are outstanding for a casual place.  The bartender served us vodka he infused with pineapple...delish.

Breakfast is also great.  Simple but tasty.   I love the huevos ranchero sauce.  Homemade.

Good food, good service, and very comfortable environment.
I didn't really understand polo, but the commentators are more than helpful -- so your time here will be very enjoyable.
    A-OK!

Watching the sunset behind the mountains on the patio is just breathtaking. The food choices are great and service is friendly. Nice place to kick back and relax with friends. I've noticed all age ranges and families there - all and all a nice friendly place to go and have a bite to eat or watch some sports at the bar area. They have a fire pit on the side to sit around too.  Little hard to find and give directions being in the middle of the Polo Grounds.
