Don't let the bad reviews keep you from stopping in. we went tonight for dinner out on the patio and was suprised the food was pretty good had the wing and sliders wife had the ham and cheese. Used the http://rest.com and would go back again. Good bar food!

Been here a few times now, it's not as horrible as some reviews claim. They finally got a real craft beer on tap, so that's a bonus. It has a average atmosphere, nice staff & decent food. Their perogi are very good, they came sautéed instead of the normal deep fried. typical crowd is older, I'd say 45+ on average. There is a $10 min for all CC purchases, would have liked to have known that before making an initial purchase. All in all, it's not a bad little bar to pop in a have a drink at, but I wouldn't kill an evening here.

Went here last night with better half for Valentine's dinner. It was really crowded but we seated fast. There was only one waitress/server besides the owner. I know this server has been there the last couple times I have been here in a couple years. For as much ground as she had to cover, she did an excellent job!

Drinks came to us fast and just when I thought I was going to have to wait awhile for the food because of all the patrons....the food was there! Better-half gets the tenderloin tips on toast (excellent she says) and I got the fish and chips basket, like the last couple of trips to the Roseville. It was greasy good and hot..I loved it! The cook was on his game.

The food was a little more expensive than the last time we were here but that is to be expected because it has been a year or so. The price is still reasonable.

Service and food were excellent. I will not wait that long again to come back :-)

I give this place one star for no other reason that I had too. Food was aweful. Steak was burnt, and the rest of the surf-n-turf was dried out. My only guess was the fries and shrimp were under a heating lamp, waiting for the steak, and the cook forgot the steak. Burnt to a crispy crunch. Did not have the soup of the day. Only recieved one side. ALl in all the service was good. the barmaid was also our waitress, so she was pulling double duty. My girlfriend's meal came out just as poorly. How do you complain to the staff when the meal totally sucked. The locals and the barflies seemed happy in their little alcoholic cocoon, so as a neighborhood bar, it seems to fit a niche, but as a tavern that serves food, it misses the mark badly. The atmoshere was nice, with several large screen Tv's each showing something different. I would say the owners and staff are trying, but they would seem to have a long way to go to even reach mediocore.

Used a http://Restaurant.com gift certificate for this place. So glad we didn't have to pay the full price for our meal....My boyfriend ordered the special steak dinner. The steak was more like beef jerky, the shrimp, and sweet potato fries were very dried out...probably from sitting under a heat lamp while the steak over cooked to jerky. I ordered the crab cake dinner. The crab cakes were so so mushy, with only one or two slivers of crab found in both cakes total. My baked potato was dried out I didn't even have enough butter or sour cream to soften it up. Only thing good from this meal was the soda and tea...well...ok the salad wasn't that bad...but not much you can do to mess up a salad. We will never, ever go there again...coupon, gift card, or even free...YUCK!!

There are two categories with which to rate the RV Tavern as both Restaurant and Bar.

If you are looking for good satisfying pub grub, do not enter. However, if you want a place to unwind with a few cheap drinks, enjoy a sporting event and maybe an appetizer, than this is your place. The outdoor seating is okay, nothing special. We ordered the chicken tenders and cheesesteak. There were only 3 tiny pieces of chicken and fries for $8.25....The cheesesteak was okay, but there are plenty of better more reasonable places to get cheesesteak.
However, as a local bar, close to home there is a good atmosphere about the place and the drinks are reasonable. I'll definitely return, just not for dinner.

I've been to Roseville Tavern many many years ago and I remember a pasta dish that was delicious back then. Went back just a few weeks ago and they didn't have that same pasta dish. Instead. we ordered a couple burgers - they were like frozen/processed patties, lettuce was limp, and the bun was something you'd buy on sale at the grocery store. Inexpensive and the food was edible. Not impressed.

Grew up in Lancaster and Roseville Tavern has been around for ages, but I can't figure out why. The food is horrible. Meatloaf looked and tasted like it was cut from a processed meat log. Couldn't eat it and woundn't feed it to my dog.

In most areas, places like this would have closed their doors a long time ago. Cold cheap beer is probably what keeps this place a float because it isn't the food.
