"Christ based" program supporting recovery and training in the restaurant biz to those in need.  Proceeds from the restaurant go to the program. The food is good. I just think one should know when you are supporting a religion-based organization. Unless you notice the various New Testament images and messages on the walls, you will already be seated before figuring this out.

This place is a gem in the middle of the beautiful mountains of the Tahoe National Forest.  We had breakfast in the middle of the day. Everything was cooked to perfection. Great coffee, bacon cooked perfectly, unbelievably tasty hash browns. The server was really friendly and remembered our entire order without writing it down. Theres even a nice view of the mountains. We couldn't ask for more in this location.

Loved the coffee bar.  A great stopping place on the way from Sacramento to Tahoe.  Can't wait to try the restaurant on our next trip to Tahoe.
