"Christ based" program supporting recovery and training in the restaurant biz to those in need. Â Proceeds from the restaurant go to the program. The food is good. I just think one should know when you are supporting a religion-based organization. Unless you notice the various New Testament images and messages on the walls, you will already be seated before figuring this out.
Review Source:This place is a gem in the middle of the beautiful mountains of the Tahoe National Forest. Â We had breakfast in the middle of the day. Everything was cooked to perfection. Great coffee, bacon cooked perfectly, unbelievably tasty hash browns. The server was really friendly and remembered our entire order without writing it down. Theres even a nice view of the mountains. We couldn't ask for more in this location.
Review Source:We were just there this weekend.  It's under new ownership.  We loved both our dinner and breakfast.  The folks that run this place are so hospitable.  Their food is yummy and their portion sizes were generous.  They also  make their meals from scratch. For dinner we had a potato soup that was made from scratch. Their house potatoes also were also  home made. Nothing processed here!  We left healthy, happy and full!  We will be back!
Review Source:I live locally and drive 15 minutes up hwy 80 to eat at the Rustic Table quite often. Â It's great food, reasonably priced, and really fun service. Â Strike up a conversation with the staff - get to know them! Â I love the bleu cheese burger with the grilled onions. Yum! Â The coffee bar specialities put Starbucks to shame and the ambiance is warm and friendly (I have the Zebra or Mexican Mocha with whipped cream for dessert). Â Great for brunch after church with a group of friends, too!
