It's a pub. :) It's nice and has an okay selection of beer. I think the best part was that they were playing the Blink 182 music station on Pandora! :)

The bartender had no customer service skills, and the chicken nachos she recommended were lousy. The cheese was not melted, yet the plate didn't come to us until it was cold, and the nachos were covered in diced raw pepper which was awful. The person cooking had a thick, large beard,, which has no place in a kitchen,,,,, this is not Seattle, Dude,,, take your "artsy" crap food elsewhere,, we are not in a commune....

OK I have been sitting here for over 10 minutes now without service. The  bimbo waitress fInally came up to me. Well, she had been sitting five feet away all this time smoking a cigarette talking to some guy. I did not even know she worked here. Oh, and she is breaking a city code, smoking outside is not allowed if you serve food outside which they do. I have been here before and like the food  but they need to hire good help. I won't b back if the service stays this way.
It has been 30 minutes since I have seen the waitress. No food yes

We tried Saltine Warrior for the first time on a Living Social Deal. We got there around 6 on a Saturday night and it was... empty. The entire time we were pretty much the only people there. The waitress was nice but didn't know much about the beer selection.

That said, the food was great. The boneless wings were crispy and HOT with a ton of flavor. I had the burger which seemed freshly made and on a great bun. He had the chicken club which was delicious and filling. Beer and popcorn on the side, and we had a great dinner.

Overall, no big surprises: food was good, menu was small but with good standard bar food, and really can't comment on the atmosphere, because... we were the atmosphere. TV outside was a nice touch, but in mid-summer it meant we were listening to Jerry Sandusky coverage. Meh.

Not my first time here but after today, probably my last. Ordered the chicken club. What was once a 4 wedge club sandwich is now just 2?.. for the same price? I have to say I felt a little cheated..... and still hungry.

Beer selection is great and the food is good, but THE SERVICE (when it's busy) is TERRIBLE.  Takes about 10 minutes to get a drink, if your lucky.

They do have two tables (you can reserve ahead of time) that have built in taps.  Pretty cool and self-serve!

If you're looking to watching a Syracue game there.  Reserve a table with a tap or find somewhere else to go.

Great name for a bar.  For those who remember the pre-citrus days up on the Hill and sat in Archibold with the Saltine Warrior leading the football team out on the turf, you would think you had to give this place a shot.  Which is what I did last night.  We went in with the intention of having a beer or two and grabbing something to eat.  The few things I read here before going were true, lots of TV's and those beer dispenser tables.  There are only a few booths and they are made for a large group, so we sat at the bar. Beer selection is little better than at your average sports bar.  It is loud in this place, but that is expected in a bar of this type.  My first indication that it was not going to be a place to stay for a few hours was watching our bar maid pour the beers.  She may as well have put the glasses on the floor and poured them. In the pint glasses, there was easily 5 inches of head. Which she let settle down and laughed about how foamy the beer was.  They need to teach them how to pour beer.
Secondly, there is a open kitchen area where it looks like they make pizza or some type of food - but no menus on the wall that I could see and definitely none at the bar.  I waited to see if the bar maid was going to offer some, but she was only interested in filling up the pint glasses again.  Which after watching her first exploits, I was not about to give her another chance. We ended up leaving and going down to Armory Square, to get something to eat and have another beer.  I may give this another try sometime, but it may be awhile.  Will be interesting if it stays in business.

I went here on a Saturday when there were no big games on and we were among a handful of customers. Nice clean place with huge booths, lots of TVs and a cool draft system that lets you share a mini-keg at a table with friends. I don't drink alcohol or watch sports but this seems like a good place to combine those activities. We had hot wings - okay not stellar but also not terrible. The pizza was a very thin crust (which I like) but the crust needed more character - it was a bit lacking in flavor and had a smooth texture instead of the slight graininess that I like. The cheese, sauce and toppings weren't bad. Overall I'd rate it as a solid B but I wouldn't go back there for the food - only to see a game although I might get food when I was there.

Food was pretty good, prices are mediocre, bartenders were absurdly slow, but there are a lot of TVs.

Would not argue against meeting someone here, but would not ever actively try to go again.

Cannot agree with other reviewers that the atmosphere is good, although a big empty room full of TVs is not offensive, either.  You will find a lot of middle aged people here yelling very loudly.

The draft beer list is good although they ran out of 2 about 30 minutes into an SU game. The nacho's are awful. Standard bag chips with strings of thin sliced white onion and pumped on nacho cheese sauce. Pizza was grossly greasy. Could be new pub jitters. Great atmosphere so it would be a shame if they didn't make it because of the menu.

This place is ok. I had a panini the first time during the lunch hour, which was pretty good. Second visit I had pizza and wings for dinner. Pizza was sloppy, but the toppings (mushrooms and pepperoni) were great. Overall it was tasty. Wings were plump and juicy with a nice amount of sauce. Service was excellent the first time, mediocre the second. Dinner during trivia night (a Friday) was painful. Atmosphere overall, actually, is meh. Boxy and dissonant.

A nice place to go before the game.  This place has the NFL package with all the games on Sundays.  They have a bunch of flat screens, most nice big 40 inchers.  They have 12 beers on tap with some good microbrews (Arrogant Bastard, Omegang, Southern Tier) alongside the standards (Bud, Blue Moon, etc.).  They have "draft tables" a thing that I'd never seen, where you can order pints of Bud or Bud Light at the bar and it will be dispensed at your group's table.  They have pizza (alright pie, the buffalo wing pie was a tad greasy), hoagies and wings.  They also plan on having a bus up to the Dome on game days.  I'd highly recommend this place as another alternative to a chilly tailgate.
