Schnickelfritz

I grew up in Fond du Lac, and recently came home for my sister's wedding. Stopped here for pre-dinner drinks. Double bubble, fuck yeah!

Nothing special about this place, as far as I could tell. Basic bar setup, standard beers, strong cocktails. Jukebox. Friendly, though slow-ish service. The usual.

If someone said to me "hey, I'm gonna be in Fond du Lac for some reason, where should I go?" this is not a place I'd say they need to check out. But then again, what could I possibly recommend?

Schnickelfritz was previously known as Dillinger's. Dillinger's was known for overcrowding and poor service - Schnickelfritz is the exact opposite. Fast service, Good Music, Busy but not too busy, Big TVs, Dart Boards, Beer Pong....

This place has been picking up since it changed owners. They offer a DJ on Thursday, Friday and Saturday that plays great dance music from different genres and top 40's.

Great Daily Specials, Great Drink Prices, Great Service.

Perfect place to stop if you're from out of town looking for some fun or if you're from the area... forget about Dillinger's poor reputation.
