We ate here for the first time, with a party of 7, having an early dinner on Friday night.  Everyone left satisfied.  We had drinks, an appetizer, and entrees. Service was fantastic, the decor is fabulous and the food is pretty good.  Not, "OMG!  You have to try this place" good, but it was good.

I attend team trivia a lot here in the bar, but this time I ordered a summer chicken salad and cheesy bread sticks, both were amazing. and the service was top notch.

Went for dinner this evening with my husband and sister.  The service was decent, although we were there for an early dinner 5 o'clock.  The food was edible.  I had the pasta fresco and it was mediocre, the "fresh cherry tomatoes" were barely pink in color, hard and tasteless.  My husbands steak with was barely rare and my sisters spedini was way over cooked.  My husband had the chocolate divinity for dessert, it was good, but three small round cake discs with a strawberry and a bit of strawberry sauce for $6 was a bit over priced.

We'll go somewhere else for italian net time, maybe on of the chain restaurants, their food is much better.

I don't know where to start. This place was one of the worst dining experience I have had in quite some time. Decided to give it a shot for my birthday dinner. What a present I received. Our server arrived at our table after a long wait to take our drink order. My mother, who had ordered an absolut and cranberry received a rocks glass full of apple juice with a lime. When we informed our server of this, he acted annoyed and brought back the same drink with a shot of vodka. Thank god my gin and tonic was strong because the meal didn't get any better. Ordered the margarita dip for an app. Received spinach artichoke dip. Then came the main course. Wow, faux west michigan gourmand at its finest. I got a plate of farfalle drowned in a cheese filled bechamel slop. The manicotti my wife got tasted like a bland enchilada. And best if all was the tomato sauce. Does Hunts make chunky ketchup? If not, they could pitch the idea to them. After our meal, the floor manager was sent to our table by the server. He had absolutely no concern over our negative experience. Will not be returning until yet another restaurant moves in to this location.

About the only thing this place has going for it is the decor.

Service is spotty. We had a party at two tables. One table always got service, and the other (mine) didn't get: water, bread, or silverware.

Food wasn't great. The pizza was more microwaved than wood-fired. Gummy, soggy, thick crust. The cheese was laid on thickly and would slide off as if this was a Little Cesar's pizza.

There was a guitarist present who appeared to strum only instrumental versions of Led Zepplin songs.

We dined here during the soft open and it was amazing--- the food was noticeably fresh and delicious. We cannot wait to go back and eat here again now that it is officially open!  We got to sit outside on the patio area and it is just lovely!  Hoping they get space heaters outdoors so we can enjoy dining al fresco into the fall!

I am giving this restaurant a four because of the character inside/outside.  The service and food were very average.  I think whoever is managing this restaurant needs to sit and have a few meals with their significant other.....changes such as cloth napkins and water out of glass would do wonders.  Due to my exceptional company I had that night, and the character of the building, I will be returning......and if necessary, change my rating:).

This restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The wait staff was very slow and we watched out food sit under the heat lamps for over 10 minutes. The tomato sauce was way too sweet and we couldn't even have more than a couple of bites of it. We ordered the cheese bread which was good but it was served with that tomato sauce that is just too sweet. My entree was not very hot and the seafood that was in it clearly had just been heated up. We heard the kitchen staff talking about what "aioli" was, which being a chef in a "nice" restaurant like this, the kitchen staff should be more knowledgable. The waitress walked by our food under the heat lamps three times before picking it up and when it was finally brought to us, it was not very hot. I would only go back here if someone that I was going with really really wanted to go but would not go again on my own. Too bad...it is a great location.

Maybe it's not fair to rate Serafina's after only one visit during their soft opening, but we will not be going back unless we know that they've hired a different chef. I only based this rating on the food (not service) which tasted as though it came straight from Costco or Gordon Food. I had the signature Serafina's pasta which had very little in it other than a few tiny pieces of sun dried tomato and was so bland and tasteless that I asked for dried pepper flakes. My husband had a wood-fired pizza which was also strangely without taste - no sauce, CANNED mushrooms and doughy crust that tasted as if they left out the salt.

It seemed to us that they were catering to a pre-conceived notion that people eating out in Holland will only spend $10 on a meal.  Wrong!  We are people who like good food even if it costs more than $10-12.

So disappointed that they couldn't even pull off a decent wood-fired pizza like their predecessor, Via Maria's.

This place is a bust. It started bad when we were seated with dirty, wet menus. We ordered cheese bread (aka bread sticks) and pasta dinners. Both the appetizer and dinners came out at the same time. The food tasted bad and the service was slow. It's simply Vitales food but, in a nicer building. Very disappointed and we will not be back.
