Yum! Inventive, delicious and fresh.  Worth the drive from wherever you are. Cocktails are unique and thoughtful. We chose salads for appetizers and weren't disappointed by the creative combinations. Three fish dishes for mains - one was better than the next. Mediterranean doesn't cover the breadth of this menu.  

By far, one of the best restaurants in the area, including NW CT.

Wonderful place! I had goat cheese spaetzle and my wife had duck, both in forms not described on their Web menu. We exchanged bites and found everything very much to our liking.

Service was also excellent, and the chef/owner was friendly. I really can't understand the unfavorable reviews that are on the Yelp site. As far as we were concerned, there was no reasonable room for objection to anything.

Have been going to this restaurant for years for my mother's birthday.  She loves it.  I'm sick and tired of the service and the attitude.  Tonite we had to ask for them to put the heat on (it was 17 degrees outside and not much warmer inside).  Then we had our drink order taken and ordered two appetizers.  While we waited we were asked if we wanted tap or bottled water, got that, and then proceeded to wait.  I had to ask for bread, which was handily delivered to the table that was seated after us.  We ordered our meals and finally got some bread and at the same time our appetizers.  We ate our appetizers, the plates were cleared and then we waited, and waited and waited.  My father and I finally got up to go to the bathroom, I asked one of the staff to see if our dinners were coming, she said they were being plated.  We waited a good ten more minutes.  Then my father's scallops came, we told him to eat while they were hot, I guess that wasn't an issue because they weren't hot, and the rest of us waited and waited,  when our meals arrived, my father told the staff that his meal was cold, by that time my mother had tasted her meal and her potatoes were cold, but all else on the plate was fine.  She told them not to do anything to the meat.  When the meals came back, my husband and I had finished our meals.  My father had only two scallops on his plate and my mother's steak (which had been med/rare and nice and red) was now well done and not even any pink.  She didn't want to say anything, I asked my father where the other scallops went and the chef (who brought out the dishes) said "he ate one already".  WTF, you are in the service industry sir, your editorializing is not needed here.  Just apologize for the food and shut up.  I looked at my mother's meat and said, Mom tell them to take it back it's well done now, not med rare.  She didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so she just ate it.  I knew she was unhappy, but I didn't want to make her more uncomfortable so I didn't insist.  At those prices, you should get what you ordered.  All they had to do was give her a hot side of potatoes, instead of ruining her steak.  They took our plates and we waited and waited and waited again for the bill.  Finally, the waitress came over with two desserts.  I just wanted to leave.  My mother ate the dessert and the owner/chef came over and asked how it was, my mother said she loved the chocolate one, he said well, what about the baklava?  My father said it was fine, the guy didn't leave until my father said he liked it very much.  Well, sir, I know we aren't you're regulars, so you don't have to please us, but guess what, we're not ever coming back and we're telling all of our friends that we told to go to your restaurant, not to bother.  Enjoy your regulars.  I'm sure you dont' give them your attitude.
