Pretty good comfort food, but expect delays getting out of there on time, service is a little slow.

I've been back twice since my first review.  I had better service (from the same server) this last time, she was really quite good.  It wasn't as busy, so maybe they were understaffed the night she wasn't as good.

Karaoke is still great!  The volume is a problem, though, if you want to have any conversation at all, between songs.  As I mentioned, they weren't as busy as the first time I went, and the rotation was fine this time.

I'm not increasing the overall rating, though, because of the drinks.  I ordered Rum & Coke (well drink) in a tall glass.  I got three of them, and they were so weak that when I tasted the 3rd one, I actually questioned my server to see if perhaps she had misunderstood, and was bringing me plain coke.  She said the reason I didn't taste any rum was because I ordered it in a tall glass (more coke).  I explained that this is "my usual drink", and I order it at numerous places, exactly the same way, and have never NOT been able to taste the rum.  Usually 2 - 3 drinks would at least give me a little buzz, and at one bar in particular, 2 drinks would make me almost drunk.  Obviously that place pours very generously.  But when my check came, and I realized they charged me $6.75 PER DRINK, I was livid!  I can get a good rum & coke at any number of places by driving 5 - 10 minutes from Shamrock's, and be charged $4 (on average) per drink!  IF I go back to Shamrock's, I will only drink beer from now on, because that is ridiculous!
