Great pit stop on the way to TC! Got a flight of beers and a pizza. Pizza was really good, not a big fan of the paper plates though. Beer was tasty and the staff was really nice. I liked this place a lot and would make the drive to go again. Short's Brewery has a good vibe to it, I like the school bus seats in the front and some of their bottle labels turned artwork.
Review Source:I have been coming to Shorts for a while now but this past time really rang true to me. My family and I decided to go there on July 6th so the place was wall to wall packed. Luckily while standing in line for our beer order my wife was able to grab us the coveted seats at the bar.
Instead of ordering meals we decided to go the all appetizer route and we were not disappointed! I went for the Haze Daze because the smoke element to a beer intrigued me. My wife went Nicey Spicy (her favorite) We started with the Argus and it was as great as ever. Each time we get it they rotate one of the dips and this time the green tabbouleh type one was my favorite. As we devoured the pitas we did round two of the beers. I couldn't switch from the Haze Daze, the smokiness had me hooked. To compliment the beer I decided to go with the Mr. Smokey. The plate came out with a fantastic mix of cheeses, meats and veggies. Combining the double creme brie with the raisin jam was divine. The prosciutto and salami held up to my inner Italian but the cheeses too the prize. My wife decided to get the Fiesta and the mixture of the avocado, home made salsa and queso really take the chips and salsa idea to the next level. To bring it all together we had another round of beer and also ordered a bowl of the Spicy tomato Bisque.
This was out of this world delicious! From the fresh bread to the creaminess of the soup to the spicy back flavor finish. Seriously, this stuff I could bathe in.
What makes Short's so special is that it is a fully unique experience. The finely crafted beers are wonderful and exciting but the food is also able to compete with them.
You will not be disappointed coming here!!
Their food is always amazing and the Exactly Where I'm At appetizer is a can't miss. Â The ever changing beer selection always amazes me. Â It's always hard to choose which beer to try every time I go here. Â The first come first serve seating arrangement can be a little frustrating at times, but it is always worth the wait.
