  I cannot say enough about this restaurant.  The service is EXCEPTIONAL.  I have never met a friendlier staff.  My name is always remembered and everyone tells me to have a good day with a big smile on their face when I am leaving.  The food is great too.  The wasabi tuna is OUT OF THIS WORLD!  Shrimp and grits are a family favorite and the ribs are FALL OFF THE BONE.  I cannot say enough about Shucker's Oyster Bar and Grill.  Thank you for being the best restaurant in moore county!!

  Great server, food was pretty good. Had the tempura asparagus, Alaskan crab legs, fried seafood platter, and kids clam strips. The fried food wasn't real crispy and the crab leg shells were kinda soft when trying to crack them (should be tight and should snap). The hush puppies were delish!

  I was passing through Southern Pines on business yesterday and wanted to enjoy some great seafood for lunch. I reviewed the website thoroughly and was led to believe this place had exceptional seafood. I paid $24 for a place of sea scallops that were mediocre with just a small amount of vegetables on the side. My partner had the salmon which was supposed to be blackened but was burned solid on the bottom of the filet. They offered to replace the filet but my partner did not feel it was worth the trouble. The hostess told us she should have offered to have it blackened on the open fire or the flat iron and explained the difference. That would have been helpful when we ordered as we would have chosen the flat iron. The food is not terrible but it was nothing that you could not get somewhere else at a better price. I will not return.

  Service was great. Good beer selection although could have more variety like IPAs, etc. Food was great. We ordered the Mussels appetizer, Big SOB and Salmon for entrees. Big SOB was just that and cooked well. The salmon was a little on the bland side, but we are from Alaska and used to fresh Alaskan salmon reguarly so we may be partial.

  Have eaten here more than 5 times in last year.  First, ambiance sitting outside in patio area is outstanding!  Live music last time we were there.  We love to sit outside and just relax.  Second, the only reason I didn't give this restaurant more stars is all the meals I have ordered seem to be over seasoned.  We got the crab dip and is was so salty that it was barely edible.  Other dishes we have got aren't quite as bad, but still a little salty.  Also, we have never had anything but top notch service here.  The wait staff is warm and very friendly.

  We like to stop here for a late afternoon cocktail and appetizers - especially if we've skipped lunch.  We will order the seared ahi tuna, 1/4 lb of the peel and eat shrimp and a cluster of crab and a couple drinks - sit at the bar and watch some sports or news and chill.  The service is always GREAT and the menu has just been updated to include fresh hand ground burgers.  The Whiskey Smash (with Makers Mark) is refreshing!  Love the fresh mint.
