I grew up in this area and have lived a few miles down the road from Silver Lake for 4 years but never went until recently.  I have now been there twice.  I like to sit in the bar side, even though both times I got dinner too.  The only meat I eat is seafood, so I get the crab cake dinner or sandwich, which are both good!  My fiance liked whatever chicken dish he got.  Overall, I would say the food is average, but I come for the cheap beer!  Like another reviewer said, it's not a fancy place, but  finding places like this is one of the best parts of living in a small town!
Review Source:I read a good review in local paper that they have good wings. I belong to a
12 member wings group so I looked on line to find website to find out which night is wing night, their address and the full menu. I could not find any website. I did find a couple of old reviews on Yelp and Trip. So I called the place. Spoke with a nice woman, she said wing night is Tuesday, all day, $9.95 AYCE wings and a beer,
or 12 for $6. Sounds good. I asked where I can find menu as some eat more than just wings. No website, but she thought menu was on Face Book. I looked and could not find Silver lake inn  on FB except for one in Wisconsin. If a place is too disorganized or lazy to have a wesite with basic information a customer wants, then i am sorry I am too lazy to drive out to patronize you.
