  I've loved Skiles for 20 years, but it's gone downhill fast. They use less toppings, pre made crust and watery sauce.  They need to start over. It now tastes like cardboard with ketchup.

  They serve a cracker thin crust only and offer three sizes, 10"-13"&15". The sauce is very mild and the cheese not too salty. Toppings could be more generous but I guess you could ask for extra toppings. Give it a try the next time your in Holland!

  Nice change to the typical pizza. Very thin crust and the olives were green instead of the traditional black ones. Try it... I think you'll enjoy the experience.

  Great pizza. This place is a thousand times more appealing since smoking was banned. Veggie choices on pizza are not the best.

  If you like thin crust pizza, then you would like Skiles Tavern. I thought it was so-so pizza, but I do prefer thick crust.

  This restaurant/tavern has excellent thin crust pizza.  The atmosphere was pub like and noisy.  The service seemed to assume you were a regular so could be a little less than welcoming for a first timer.  Overall the pizza is good enough I would definitely return.  We went at 7 o'clock on a saturday night so it was pretty busy and may explain the service.

  Yum YUM yummy Pizza
  We would order take out- bring it back to our boat and eat it all up.  
  Eating it until we couldn't eat anymore, Then getting out on the water and drinking a cold brew.

  Classic bar. Now smoke free but still have the pool table. Great pizza. Definitely the place for a beer and a pizza in downtown Holland.

  The only bar in downtown Holland really worth going to. It used to be more divey, but still has a homegrown bar vibe you won't find at the fake Irish  college pub or family-friendly brewpub down the street (even if the beer is great). Oft-crotchety but reliable service, cheap pitchers, and the 2nd-best pizza in town.

  I make an effort to stop through Skiles every time I'm in Holland.  The bar staff is always friendly and most of the regulars there are familiar faces from my years growing up in Holland.  I've always loved their thin crust pizza and have to say that it may be the best pizza any dive bar has to offer!  There is a pool table up front and a jukebox loaded with essential rock classics, which are always pluses in my book.  Long live Skiles Tavern!
