We have been going to this location for years, and actually really liked the old establishment prior to its new management. Â Well to our surprise, the Slate Quarry is even better - by a lot! Â Friendly and fast service, a nice, historic building, and of course what better than surprisingly good food! Â Yeah, the typical "bar food," with a few other menu items you wouldn't typically see (Panini, etc.), but a very good place to meet friends, have a few beers (some of the coldest in the Lehigh Valley by the way) and not feel you spent too much. Â Try it!
Review Source:I went to the Slate Quarry Hotel for a work Christmas party. Â I had never been there before. Â I ordered the buffalo shrimp and sweet potato fries, they were so good! Â Everything else that my friends ordered looked very yummy and everyone was very happy with their meals and drinks. I will be going back, a nice laid back atmosphere, nothing fancy, just good food.
Review Source:We went back last week, armed with my drivers license. I had the espresso martini, which was basically a BIG GLASS OF VODKA. That is a good thing if you're me. Your mileage may vary. We ate some nachos, but I don't remember them, because I had just drank a BIG GLASS OF VODKA. They had a jukebox that you could buy credits for on your Android phone, but I don't remember much about it, because... You guessed it, I had just drank a BIG GLASS OF VODKA.
I hate paying $9 for girly drinks that are basically fruit juice with a bottle of alcohol waved at it. I got my $9 worth. Good times!
