My boyfriend took me here for an afternoon date.  He had purchased a deal on Living Social that included a wine tasting and tour of the vineyard. The tour guide Tony was AMAZING.  My boyfriend is the type that likes to ask a million questions, and Tony was able to answer all of them.  Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was also extremely friendly. All the wines sampled were excellent. I really enjoyed Bashful Ewe, while my boyfriend loved Winey  Mary. So many different flavors to choose from.  The location is beautiful.  I would recommend stopping by if in the area.
Review Source:DO NOT HOLD EVENTS HERE! Â Dear friends of ours chose to have their wedding at SCV. Â Paid $3000 just to hold the wedding out in the field behind the store. Â SCV was to have provided a tent (in case of inclement weather). Â Apparently the vendor they normally use had no tents available for that date, and SCV didn't pursue the matter with other vendors. Â The personnel were rude and unaccommodating. Â Snidely commenting that they were open for business, and couldn't be of any assistance. Â Due to terrible storms/heavy rain that day, the couple eventually had to move the wedding indoors. Â More uncooperative behavior by the winery staff. Â Got the wedding over, then everyone was run off before pictures could be taken. Â 'We're open for business.' Â They'd double booked! Â Having a HIGH SCHOOL homecoming event at the same time. Â No. Â Never again. Â Please, DO NOT subject yourselves to this kind of treatment for any special event.
