Social Urban Bar and Restaurant

The place is a bit small with a limited menu, but what they do offer, they do it right. We started with buffalo sliders and the brussel sprouts. Capers, lemon and cheese made the sprouts delicious. I moved on to the braised pork shoulder that was fork tender and basically falling apart. The homemade sausage accompaniment was equally delicious. Finished with the bread pudding. Social Urban has earned a place in my rotation when in Rockford.

Hands down, my favorite restaurant of all time. You can really tell that the food is prepared when you order it from fresh ingredients. My husband and I visit at least once a month and I love that the menu changes so frequently so it never gets old--however my husband ALWAYS gets the cowboy ribeye :) Service is top notch and is my standard when comparing any restaurant.

Food was delicious, the prices were in lone with quality and atmosphere. The service was exceptional. Definitely a Rockford gem.
