Swilligan's Pub

Ran into this place when my fiance and I were exploring the downtown. My fiance is part Irish, and nothing is more cozy to me than a pub! This is the kinda place I would want to be known by my first name at. We both ordered the special of hotdogs and fries for like 5 dollars... I dont remember, I just know the bill for me and my hubby came out to 14 bucks with sodas for each of us also. THESE DOGS WERE HUGE! All One Third Pound of beefy goodness! The fries alone would have had me coming back! I couldn't believe the quality of the food for the price I was paying. The staff was super friendly, the music was great *irish punk and classic Celtic* and the over all atmosphere was very comfortable. The bar had a few hawks fans waiting for the game to come on, an hour early which made me smile! overall this is my kinda place and I would recommend anyone goes and trys the food! Just tonight one of the cooks rode up to me on a bike as I was walking downtown and gave me a coupon menu and some drink tokens! Thats shows true love for their place of work. Swilligans pub is my new favorite.
