Went in one afternoon kinds late and asked if service was till available and I ordered 2 hard shell tacos and I am not exaggerating but Taco Bell was 10 times better. I got 2 tacos with old  pre- made taco shells and salsa that was half eaten, spilling over the side and it was gross. On previous visits the food was good C plus or b minus quality. I do not think I will go back. I was very disappointed
Review Source:I have been coming here since I was younger and it never dissapoints. I order the exact same thing everytime. (Chili verde burrito. Beans, cheese, rice. And 1 or 2 chicken soft tacos). The food is always hot off the grill served fresh! This os not a place to come if you want to have a nice sit down dinner date. Its cafeteria style. You go up an order and someone brings your food to you. The food is worth it though! I don't come here for the "ambience". I come here to eat! Make sure you try the spicy salsa its a great addition to the burrito!
Review Source:I have lived in the camarillo area for years and have heard many people talk about this place. This morning I gave it a shot.
The "restaurant" is a few tables in a seperated area off of the market/liquor store. I wasn't going for the ambiance so I could care less.
I ordered their combo burrito which has ground beef, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and pico de gallo on the side. The burroto plus a bottle of pepsi ran about 7.50 or so. They brought the food to my table and the server was nice.
First thing I noticed is that the burrito is pretty average in size for nearly 6 dollars. The next thing I found out is that the inside was boiling hot. Someone should have warned me of the impending burns if you immediately bite in. Once i got over that and let the burrito cool, it was pretty good. Good ratio of ingredients, none overpowering the dish. The tortilla seemed really fresh and tasted really good. I don't know if it is homemade but it was good.
I did see several people ordering menudo and they seemed pretty happy.
I think this place is more nystique than anything else. Because it is definitely a hole in the wall kind of place that looks awful from the outside and not much better from the inside, people want to believe that they have found the diamond in the rough. Its not that great. Its good, just not great. There are several places in Oxnard and Ventura that are better.
