One of my favorites. Don't judge it by the storefront. This is not a dive! Good daily food specials (try the chicken and biscuits on Wednesdays) and good soups. Family-friendly with a nice dining room. Not a wide selection of draft beers, but lots of choices in bottles and cans, and strong mixed drinks at a good price if you want to sit at the bar. Give the South Side a chance!

Went here for lunch b/c I heard they had the best wings in Binghamton. The front door, on the street, was locked, but a customer told me through the window to use the back door, so that got us in.
Had a powerful hankering for Buffalo wings, but opted to try Yanni's "Greek" wings, which are like traditional Buffalo wings, but with oregano, garlic, and lemon. They were just as described, but I think I'll go for the original next time. Also, the "hot" wings really were not very, though they do offer a nice assortment of hot sauces.

Yanni's is one of our favorite places in Binghamton - and it is definitely our favorite for pub food. I'm blown away they could have a bad or even mediocre review at all. It's a very casual, comfortable place with friendly, helpful staff in a very clean pub. The food is fresh, the wings are amazing and there's enough variety on the menu to not get bored even if you visit there quite often. It's also one of the latest serving restaurants in the triple cities.

Seeing the bad reviews of those without IDs or under 21 whining because they couldn't get served makes me just love Yanni's all the more. Thank you SO much Yanni's, the rest of us adults really appreciate having a place to go where we don't have worry about the drunken obnoxious teenagers next to us.

Nice little bar/restaurant with pretty good pub-level food.   A Greek twist to the menu.  Not too expensive.

Very casual atmosphere with wooden tables and brick walls.  Lighting in the dinning area is a little dim and intermittent.

Rapid service from busy, no-nonsense waitresses.

The only good beer on tap is Bass, but it is very well served in special glasses and always tastes very fresh.

I go there one in a while for their Gyro and a Bass, and am never disappointed.

If you are brave enought to venture to the south side of town, then you should not be complaining about the "rudeness" of the staff at this place (above reviews). Best wings in Binghamton. Great beer specials too. I recommend the meatloaf too. Great comfort food and American cuisine... Just like the good ole days at Grandma's house.

I'd give this place 4 or 5 stars based on the tasty food/good value scale, but as other have noted the customer service is not as good as it can be. Some of the staff seem to want to help you out but most of the staff are obsessed with the rules and policies so if you want anything just  bit out of the ordinary you may be out of luck. My guess is that the others who have comments about the owner/manager are correct and he is a stickler for having staff follow the rules and policies. It is a shame because the food is good and the prices are as well. The rules, however are annoying... it makes me feel like I'm back in the cafeteria in middle school.

I was the only one underage in a table of like 7 people. They HAD to give me a hard time. I felt so humiliated about it because my friend couldn't order a pint of beer. A PINT! It wasn't even a pitcher, just a pint for himself. That waitress was such a !@#$% too! She kept on saying its the policy and blah blah blah. Then in the table next to us, there's this 1-2 yr old sitting there, and both his parents have a pint of beer. My friend quietly mentions that to the waitress and she tells us some bs like "Oh that's not a problem at all. Kids can drink with their parents." Words cannot describe my fury.

I used to like the place until the owner or manager, or whoever he is made an unprovoked, uncalled-for comment about a customer.  That was a few years ago, so maybe things have changed... or maybe not since Jeff O.'s review seems to reflect a hot-headed owner/bartender.

They are pricks about IDs. Don't bother drinking if you don't have a good ID. and if you have friends underage, they will probably give you a problem.

This is an upscale townie bar. they wear Hawaiian shirts often. The beer is always satisfying and the food is inexpensive and passable. Great wings and other appetizer varieties. Very few students go there (something which I personally like). The atmosphere is great though.

I liked it there (before my friends got into a fight with the manager) . I am hoping that if enough respectable students pack in there, they will change their ways and grow up. Age has nothing to do with maturity.
