I love that this place tries to use as much locally sourced food as possible. Florence needs more places that do that. The pretzel appetizer (Trippy Dip) is really good. Their pretzels are fresh and their dips are delicious, especially the honey butter. I've ordered the low country reuben and it was pretty good. My husband ordered the pulled pork pizza. That wasn't so good... The crust is made with honey and whole wheat flour which is nice but it was kind of bland and the pulled pork was really mushy and oily. I'd be up for trying one of their other pizzas but their pulled pork really isn't good in my opinion. The atmosphere here is really great. It's family friendly but also good for getting together with friends. They have live music on fridays and I think saturdays too but I'm not sure. The owners are often there and Randy often comes by to say hi which is definitely nice. They definitely try to make you feel very welcome here. I haven't tried any of their beers but they have a lot of drink specials all the time. Â Try this place but don't get the pulled pork.
Review Source:Disappointed. Â Probably a fine spot later at night, but for dinner I'd skip it. Â The pizza was very disappointing, especially for $17. Â They don't have fryers in the kitchen, so don't come expecting any classic bar foods. Â Their house beer was decent, but nothing to write home about. Â Service was fine until the end of the meal when it was time to pay... we were in a hurry and the server didn't come for 10 minutes after we were obviously finished. Â Had to estimate the bill and leave cash. Â Really, the low rating was for the pizza - just not good at all (we had the "brewhouse blanco" white pizza. Â Low quality ingredients, boring/bad crust.)
The live music added a fun atmosphere, and the house salad was surprisingly good.
