Food was basic. Service was terrible and the management was worse. Our party of four adults arrived for dinner before the evening crowd. The waitress first brought out salad instead of coleslaw for one member of our party. I ordered a Cobb salad for dinner. The waitress brought out the wrong type of salad. The rest of our party was 2/3's of the way through dinner before my meal arrived incomplete as they had no hard boiled egg. The egg came out as we were packing up to leave. We were charged for free refills on beverages. When we complained to the manager she could not have cared less and offered no refund on the overcharge. Left without arguing as we just wanted to get out of this awful experience.
Review Source:Decent food, terrible management/service. Went with a large group and docked from the lake. A lot of running back and forth and waiting until we were seated, and the place wasn't all that full.
Ordered a burger with fries--basic stuff--and it was solid food. The problem was with getting our bill and change, an ordeal that left is stranded and miserable on the patio in 90-degree heat for nearly an hour. Our bad that we had to split an 8-person bill, but we were told the server needed a manager override to put a few bills into one card. This took about 15 minutes to figure out, apparently. Ridiculous.
I won't blame our server too much, though. She appeared new and seemingly had to work the entire patio by herself while everyone else tended the much smaller crowd indoors.
The whole experience turned an otherwise fun boat day into a miserable waiting game.
I like the food better than T'bonez but the service hardly makes it worth it. Awful, awful experience.
Went to Spoonz this past Sunday night and we ended up leaving. We had made a reservation for the outdoor area and when we arrived and told the hostess we had a reservation, her response was "Um...I don't know anything about that. Go check outside." We went outside and were sat at a table that was very unsturdy and kept wobbling all over the place. It was also dirty. The wait staff was just hanging out, talking with each other and basically ignoring the customers. When a waitress finally came over, she informed us there was no drink menu, and they don't serve mojitos or daquiries. Disappointing. No one seemed to care about what was going on with the customers. We walked out and not one person asked us why we were leaving.
We used to go to T-Bones all the time and loved it. This new place is so disappointing.
Finally, this place is back. Â This is the old T-Bonez on Lake Ponemah. Â Same space-wasting layout, but it's much cleaner. Â The drink prices are good, and the food is decent. Â I'll post tips as I learn more, as I intend to make this place my prime watering hole. Â
I really hope they get a trivia night going soon. Â I'd much rather play here than Olde Hick on Sundays.
