This is the small Sports bar on the corner of Hill and Fenton rd. next to the Tim Horton's. Â There was much controversy to get it opened (parking was thought to be an issue). Â Now that they opened, they have not seen many parking issues.
In any case, this is a little, intimate bar with about 20-seats on two floors and 5 seats at the actual bar. Â The 2nd floor is a balcony that over looks the 12" x 12" dance floor. Â There is usually a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. Â Drink prices are a little high, but not outrageous. Â Beer selection is limited to the usual 4 or 5 common drafts and popular bottled choices (Bud, Miller,etc.). Â The bar seems to suffer from an identity crisis though. Â The sign says "Sports Bar" but when you walk in, it as if they really were going for "Tiny Night club". Â Not enough TV's to be a sports bar, and the ones they do have usually are not on a sports channel. Â Plus the atmosphere and loud music does not really lend itself to a sports bar. Â This place would have been a perfect "neighborhood pub" type of place. Â Juke box, pool table, darts, and Foosball would have set it off, but they have none of that. Â For now, they don't have to worry about parking issues, at least until they get thier business clientel built up.
