The Sports Look is the sports bar/restaurant connected to the bowling alley next door.

They are the same business, so you can get a lot of the same food and drink in the bowling alley.

    Likes:

    * You can bowl a few frames, drink some good beer and then go have some grub at the bar side.
    * Good beer and wine selection.
    * Decent service
    * Lots of TV's if you are into catching a game.

    Dislikes:

    * Antiquated atmosphere - this place needs an update badly.
    * The food - they have a huge menu, but not all of it is worth serving.  They should reduce it down to the things that are good, and just get rid of the rest.
    * Clientele - sometimes there are some rough looking characters in the bar....recently overheard a very loud conversation between some bikers about their sexual exploits.  That's great, but not exactly something everyone needs to hear.

Final verdict - an upgrade on the food and atmosphere, and this place would be 4 stars.

The Grand Slam burger IS the best burger in the area.
    - 1/2 lb. patty with mushrooms, cheddar, ham, bacon, fried egg and pepper jack cheese (I added guacamole). OUTSTANDING and it comes with fries.

The only reason I rated it 4-stars is the service is slightly slow and I wasn't given a refill on water or the iced tea.

    Otherwise, awesome sammiches and burgers.

sports look is one of the only restaurants on this side of hillsboro to provide both great food and excellent customer service. everything we have ever ordered has been fantastic, from pastas and steaks, to their fab burgers. our orders are always correct, the portions are big and the quality if wonderful(always hot and fresh). the customer service is spot on, personable and polite. would love to see some of the other restaurants in town step it up to the sports looks standards. thanks guys always a pleasure to eat in or pick up dinner.

Love the food!  Perfect spot for taking the family for dinner and watching the game!  French Dip is the best!  Get a pa-nookie for the extra calories.  Worth it!

Outstanding Ribs! Actually everything that we've tried has been way above par. Our family has diverse tastes that cover a wide palette and everyone is always pleased. You can watch what ever sports event on at the time on a number of large TVs, the interesting people out the window at the city center Max stop, or pay close attention to your group.   Service is excellent with reasonable prices, plus specials. A great family place, plus the Bowling Center can make for a great family evening.

Good neighborhood sports bar. Right off the MAX line so you never know what zany characters you'll find in there! I like the bartender and a couple of the waitresses and I think the menu is good. Overall, a good place to watch some sports, people, and for guzzling some booze.

I like Sports Look a lot, as long as you do not press the kitchen too hard. It's a sports bar with six or so big butt TVs so you can see three or so games looking in either direction. This affords you the opportunity to have a meal with someone who doesn't like you any more than you like them since you do not have to make eye contact. Because the sound is off on the TVs, your meal-mate can hear you when you ask for the ketchup bottle that they are hoarding.

The food is very, very good as long as you stick to sports bar food such as the excellent hamburgers, wonderful thin crunchy, yet fluffy-on-the-inside fries. I've tried a couple of the pastas and they are kind of, um, rotten.  They really yuck up the ribs which are pretty good though the honeys are slathered in something too sweet and dipped in bourbon? I've forgotten exactly what booze; that, at least when we had it, was not cooked off enough. I'm not going to spend another twenty-three dollars for another plate of 'em to find out exactly what it was. Anything deep fried though is pretty darn not-too-bad though.

Which brings up another thing: check the specials and lean into them. Last time we were in, we ordered a couple of hamburgers with fries, an extra salad and cup of soup with a couple of pops and dropped thirty bucks before tip. Oooo, if you are going to charge me that much money you better be real good!

If we were paying attention we could have had the two quite complete dinners for $22. That said, heading in for a burger & fries, brewskis if you are into them, would be a lot of fun.

Stagger through the doors on the side and you can bowl a little at Four Seasons Bowl and make a night of it!

I'm rounding my 2.5 to a 3. Those burgers and fries really are good and I get to bowl after, which is fun and with me, frequently hysterical.

Sat at the bar. The goal was to watch a specific football game which we did. Great beers on tap and with $3 micro pints for happy hour. Bartender very friendly and service prompt. Quite extensive mixed specialty drinks which my daughter appreciated. We only ate the happy hour chips and salsa ($2
.50) and they were fresh and crisp.

If you have a car . . . drive. If you don't . . . ride the max, cause it stops directly in front. Walk in and take your pick of whatever sporting event your heart desires. Can't find what you want already playing . . just ask any of the friendly staff and they will put it on the television of your choice. Eat in the bar, in the restaurant, or order your food from Four Seasons, the connecting bowling center, and eat while you bowl. All the salads and pastas can be ordered "Donna Sized", a smaller portion if you're not very hungry.

Mom's favorite is the Donna Sized Pasta Salad.
    My favorites are:
Appetizer: Spinach Artichoke Dip with Chips and Bread
Salad: A perfect size dinner salad with ranch dressing
Dinner: Honey Ribs (best in town), chicken strips, cheese burger(just like you made it at home) and the Prime Rib special on Saturday nights . . . and don't forget the fries . . . YUM!!!!

MOST IMPORTANT . . . . the Chocolate Chip PANOOKIE with vanilla ice cream for DESSERT.

Great place for big groups, families, or just you . . . I try and go at least once a month so I can try one of their monthly specials too.
