Caught the play off game here last met with an old friend. This place is so so far from what it used to be back in the day!
Service was good, the place was clean, bar food was just that  BAR food. Fryer stuff-
It  serves its purpose(the bar food) if your looking for 5star dining, keep driving
I was surprised that 2 of its bars were closed- seeing that it was crowded  for the game.
2 floors, lots of tvs and friendly faces, have seen a few good bands here- parking is SCARY~~~~~~~~~~~expected my car to be long gone or in a ditch when I came out~
A decent place to grab a drink!

I agree, somewhat, with the first reviewer.

The people are "nice" here. But that's not really the issue.

The first reason anyone goes to a restaurant is food. And I wouldn't call what Sportster's serves "food."

Every item on the menu is definitely inedible. I've said this in a few reviews already, and it really applies here: Don't try to use frozen and canned products and call it food. What inevitably happens is the line cooks (there is no real chef here) attempt to make the dish tasteful by over seasoning, over frying, over cooking the ingredients. Well I'm just plain over it at Sportster's.

The space itself, from the outside, looks nice. But once you walk through the door, the layout is so odd. I'm not sure what the hell these f**k knuckles were thinking. One redeeming quality is that they do get some good local bands/talent. But they squeeze them in the front first floor bar area, which is only half the first floor. Then they remove most of the tables for dancing. The upstairs is perimeter seating, so you really can't see the band unless you are on the one side. Then there's a back bar on the second half of the first floor. It's just weird and stupid as layouts go.

So yes, the staff is nice. But that's like saying the staff at a waste treatment plant are nice. I wouldn't eat there either! And the comparison hits the mark here.

Sportster's is just another example of owners who have no f'ing clue what they are doing and deserve to go out of business.

This one makes my "Avoid At All Cost" list.

Great atmosphere, big drinks, nice staff.  Food was less than edible, calamari was frightening (corn meal coated - REALLY?!?!?), chicken alfredo tasted like neither cream nor parmasean cheese, and the "pepper jack cheese sauce" was the "cheddar" (I"m using quotes on purpose here) cheese sauce I used to make that was four parts powder to one part hot water.  Ew.  Sportsters staff... call me, I'll hook you up with how a real chef roles.
