Usually have live music out on their deck which I appreciate. Food is moderate. Good service but need more menu options. Hot Springs is as all town and if you run out of something on the menu you cannot just run out an get more but when you are seated and the first thing that is said to you is all that they are out of. That is problematic.

I travel to Hot Springs quite a bit as it's a great motorcycle destination.  I've eaten at Spring Creek Tavern several times and everything was acceptable, but the last time I went was enough that I will never step foot in the place again.  If the place is busy, they can't handle it.  If there's only a few people there it's probably fine.

With limited choices for drinks and good food in Hot Springs, this is a really great option. They have a nice, large porch overlooking the river with live music on certain days/times. We ordered the homemade meatball sub with shoe string fries. I was really looking forward to the fries however they were not shoe strings. The meatballs were very good and the sandwich hit the spot. My friend ordered the wood fired pizza which was excellent. I also really enjoyed their beers on tap. I ordered the hard apple cider beer and also decided to take home a few of the ginger apple cider beers. Excellent choice for a warm summer day. Great food, beer and location!

I had a really nice lunch during my short visit to Hot Springs. It's quite nice to sit on the patio by the river and have a mountain view. They have a nice selection of items, including several vegetarian options. The craft beer and local beer selection was excellent and I enjoyed the French Broad IPA. Very friendly service, even to those like me who are not local. I like that they allow dogs on the patio too.

Probably the best eatery in Hot Springs!

The service always arrived with a smile and the server's recommendations were very helpful.

We tried the wood-fired pizza which was pretty good.  It seemed like it could have stayed in the over for another couple of minutes as it was a little limp in the center, but the flavor was excellent.  Their beer selection was also very good with a nice mix of national brands and regional flavors.

What really stood out was the cheese roll appetizers.  I was expecting cheese stix, but this was so much better with salami and cheese rolled up like a toquito and served with marinara.  Delicious!

There is also live music on weekends.

Definitely worth a stop and the best of the few options in Hot Springs.

Nice spot by the river in Hot Springs. The deck outside is great to catch a beer and some fall color.

Burger was delish, portion was just right. Sweetwater 420 on tap was perfect, and the owner served it all with a big smile. Yep, I'll be back!!!

Had an opportunity to stay in Hot Springs for several days.  The mineral baths and spa were awesome, but so was the Spring Creek Tavern.  We ended up eating and drinking here four or five times.  It is much better than its main competitor, Iron Horse Station.

The Tavern itself is very up to date, but is in a rustic brick building that has both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking Spring Creek (very pretty).  A great place to go for a beer and a meal on a lovely summer day.

The Staff here is very friendly, and knowledgeable about the local craft brews.  Trust their recommendations and you won't go wrong.  Two very notable standouts:  Ninja Porter from Asheville, and a Spring Creek Tavern concoction called Angry Mother (a beer and cider mix ... just try it).  Appetizers are standard fare, but good, and the menu is American standard, but has great flavor and good sized portions.

I plan to go back to Hot Springs ... and the Spring Creek Tavern!
